No one with a brain will buy destiny 2 after the mess they made with the dlc and all the "year one" nonsense. I guess that means they'll still have millions of customers, because people seem to enjoy complaining about destiny, and then stating how they already are buying the sequel. Idiots everywhere.
So you can suspend your disbelief for aliens being bullet sponges, but not humans in a video game? You're a superstar. And the aliens in destiny are not exciting, they are boring, and easier to kill than anything in division. It's a shooting gallery in destiny.
Not gonna lie, i mainly preordered for the free PC version. My PC dwarfs any console out, but it's in a different room. So being able to play it in two different rooms is convenient. Can't wait to crank this baby up on PC.
90% is because it's an ubisoft game. 5% is due to it being labeled an mmo, so when enemies don't die after one headshot, they can't displace reality because you're not fighting ogres or aliens. The other 5% is the people who just jump on the hate bandwagon because they either can't afford the game, or aren't skilled enough to do anything in the endgame areas.
It's winter, current day new york in the middle of a quarantine, do you expect people to have bladed shoulderpads and rainbows coming put of their asses? At some point, in every mmo, everyone is dressed the same, because end game gear is acquired by all those who need it to progress. I could care less if i look the same, and if you care about it so much, go be a weeaboo and play black desert.
Probably angry that he isn't skilled enough to cut it in the endgame content, as i see most of the low scores seem to have in common. With a full group of competent players, DZ and challenge missions are a lot of fun, and provide more of a challenge than anything i've ever experienced in Destiny. Certainly not the best game ever made, but definitely better than most in the genre.
Unfortunately i don't see it selling in the multi millions, which is a shame for the people who have their jobs on the line. Exclusivity on new IPs or sequels that were previously multi platform is always a bad idea.
I think it'd be great for them to stop making consoles, they suck at it. Terrible ,confusing marketing with wiiu and new 3DS (and old 3DS for that matter), the pointless revisions at the end of a console cycle, and a lack of a decent account/online system. I'd much rather not take the gamble of buying a $300 console with only a few games i enjoy and just buy the games for my PC/tablet/phone or other system.
Instead of downvoting the site (which seems to do nothing) can we just start banning people that recommend and post garbage from kotaku? Would make things easier.

Double whammy on not trusting the source, as it comes from kotaku AND keza. She's a well documented nintendo lifer, you'd think she'd be ok with VR as she probably spent the better part of her childhood with a virtual boy strapped on.
So, they have yet to finish releasing afterbirth on any platform except PC because they have little knowledge on how their game engine actually works, but they're working on a new game? I love BOI, but it is the only game to ever hard crash my 3DS, and i'd love to give them more money for the expansions if they would get their shit together and optimize their engine.
