Looks much more like a reskinned Division to me. But a reskin nonetheless.

This seems like a Hades-like, if it’s good fingers crossed it comes to console.

Sounds about right. Almost every other area of life seems mostly run bun by feckless out of touch buffoons, so not surprising it’s the norm in the gaming industry now.

Sweet! Had my fingers crossed about this. Free to all platforms, good news. I played about a third of the way through it at release, and I was so burnt on brown wasteland games at the time I crapped out. Be waiting for this to try again. And it won’t bother me so much since half the developers now have unicorn vomit on the screen as their color pallet.

Not as confident as how far ahead Sony has done on its first party stuff, but at least it’s not this day of bullshit. Cautious confidence lol. I’ll be preordering tomorrow. Demo sold me on it.

So reading the article it doesn’t seem to rule out the possibility of a Dead Space 2 remake at some point. It’s saying that the rumour that it was already in development and was shelved because of poor sales is incorrect. EA Motive immediately started working on something else. So I read that as them actually confirming that it’s not entirely off the table.

What the actual fuck.

I think there may also be the thought of people like myself. So Sony will sell me a Pro, and I sell my PS5 to one of my buddies who doesn’t have one for pretty cheap. Which introduces another player into their ecosystem.

I think if you go into it having a rough idea what to expect, it will be good. It’s an experience game. A graphical showpiece. But it’s just by it’s nature not something that will drive a bunch of sales. I feel a little bad for Ninja Theory honestly, there’s all these expectations for this 8 hour story game to pull attention because the lineup is so lean.

When your game is actually polished you can actually release a demo. Which was brilliant in this case, cuz I guarantee tons of people went from a wait and see to a day one as a result. I certainly am. It’s much more than just a pretty face.

Absolutely. Amazing art design, and didn’t have the Bloodborne problem so it runs at 60FPS on newer hardware, which is amazing given the reaction based gameplay

Good article. Here here.

Yeah it’s cuz it’s like a battered spouse, all their friends are like “you gotta get away from Activision, they’re abusing you.” And the CoD fan is over there with a black eye being like, “Oh I shouldn’t have made him mad, he’s actually really sweet sometimes, you just don’t understand.”

The more these guys talk the more I like em. Every respected studio started somewhere, maybe this is the start of something great.

686d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course it has. Activision sh!ts in CoD fans’ mouths, they whine a little, then they clean up, go get a spoon and ask for seconds. There should be a Stockholm syndrome study done just using CoD/Madden fans.

A showstopper? No. I don’t think so. Maybe for some of us. But I don’t think your average Joe really cares all that much. It still won’t sell a staggering amount regardless. I think for me it more bothers me that they tried to play it off as a solely artistic decision when we know that’s not the case. Maybe a part of it, but certainly not all.

I’m enjoying the game a lot, but in no way is it a 9. Incredibly mid open world, and performance is rooouggghhh. Looks like a mid gen ps4 game. Which is not to say you can’t have a lot of fun, the combat is great, story is interesting. But a 9? No. Unless your only metric as a reviewer is how much fun you’re having which is entirely subjective. But from a reviewer I expect them to take into account things like performance and design.

Why is Michael Pachter still a thing. Dude has a prediction accuracy rate worse than a weather man.

You can put all the whipped cream you want on top of a sh!t sundae, I’m still not eating it.

Oh great. So glad this is a thing and not the current gen update we’ve all been asking for. /s
