I love gears dont get me wrong. visually its a 10 but I agree with the rewviewer on some of the weaknesses. I also feel the 8 is a fair score for gears. I like the unbiased review style here. It is obvious that this is a gamer with no loyalty issues and says what many would be afraid to. Now in light of this a 7/10 for RFOM is still a good score and I would get it if I had a PS3. At least I hope 7/10 is cause I never got more than that in school. I am not as think as you dumb i am.

PS3 is the same as PS2, total garbage glorified movie player. My Ps2 was crap and my PSP is crap. I am not falling for Sony BS ever again. Im glad I switched to a real game machine. Sony your time is up.
Some of us have been playing a real console for a year with the the best games so why the hell would I be jealous. If I wanted a POS3 I would have preordered one or just bought one off ebay. Truth is I think the PS3 games suck. I dont have an opinion on the POS3 cause its just plastic and wires. I am a gamer not a consoler. this sounds like as much a tv issue as a ps3 one. Good thing that this new generation allows for updates and patches. for the first few months there will be alot of patches for the ps3 its not anything worth being concerned about.
I am feeling the time pinch too. I play GOW for 4 hours then COD3 and I still feel like I am already anticipating getting home from work the next day. My wife just said this morning " I havent seen you in a while" Throw in a healthy dose of guilt on top of it. Now more games I have to play. I should have waited for PS3 then I wouldnt have any games to play and feel guilty about.
Ridge Eraser has better guns and vehicles and the new half car invisibility cloak that you dont need to press x to use. Plus PS3 is way shinier than 360 and its blacker and more grill like. Plus it doesnt have a cd tray so its better
why would they compare it to halo when most sony fanboys say halo sucks. Also any movie review that has ever compared itself to other movies have ultimately sucked. If you cant stand there on your own without comparing yourself to something else means you have nothing new to offer. that is my critique of the review not the game because I like the concept behind RFOM.
with so many recent ps2 releases ppl may be buying ps3 and playing ps2 games on it till next payday. I did buy 4 games at 360 launch but only cause my wife bought me the console for christmas. Also people who buy on ebay will run out and buy games once they have the beast in their hands. It is too early to release this stat I think.
Almost too many first rate shooters now. I played COD2 since christmas with the odd time playing something else. Now I am all over gears I have COD3 still in plastic and this game coming. I feel my marriage is in grave danger.
I suppose you could argue that this is a 360 game ported to the PS3 with not much time to do so. Now the flame comes. Get used to it cause most multi platform games will be developed for PC/360 and ported to PS3. only exclusives are gonna compare to any game on 360.
This would force game prices to drop across all platfoms so kudos to Sony for that as long as it doesnt force developers to cut corners. There are always deals around. I bought Gears and COD3 bundled at bestbuy yesterday for $99 canadian so thats about $85 US. Smokin good deal for two of the best games going at the moment. At the end of the day game prices should vary cause a AAA game should cost more than a B title
The war is over. I know they gotta make some more money and push more consoles but they certainly dont have to prove anything with sales figures. The games speak for themselves. There are more hyundais on the road than ferraris but I know which one is superior.
