but...Gran tourismo is the one game that sony has that makes me consider buying their POS. I bought a PS2 to play GT4 then sold it when i was done. I will most likely do the same with PS3. We need to remember that games are what its all about. I will not miss out on any great game regardless of console. As far as this video goes well if its old that one thing if its new then it doesnt even come close to PGR3
No matter what happens The 360 gave many of us a year of next gen gaming. By next year I have no dbt PS3 will have great games. Even if that happens and it turns out to be a 360 killer (doubt it) We will have had two great years of killer games. Some of us will buy PS3 some will not but at the end of the day people who jumped in got at least a year more of next gen gaming that sony fanboys missed and will never get back. I wish I wanted even one game coming for the PS3. I love technology. I would love to buy a PS3 instead of the hd dvd add on since I would get a hd movie player and a game console in one. The way I see it I would be getting the PS3 for $400 since I would drop $200 on the add on player for 360. Microsoft owns a large portion of Apple which is why we are seeing IE on Macs and MS Office etc. etc. Just because they buy Capcom does not mean they will cancel releases for PS3. There may be timed exclusives but money is money and this way whoever grabs market share MS wins. But I wont believe this steaming load of BS till I see an official announcement
I used to hate 3rd person shooters till gears came along. Now FPS without cover seems stiff and boring. Rainbow vegas is ok with a little of both elements. COD3 has only seen an hour of play and I got it same day as gears. Halo3 better have some new gameplay tricks up its sleeve not just pretty graphics or I might take a pass.
Its great to see the bluray PS3 getting great reviews because if you look at this review which contains screenshots to back it up the 360 HDDVD add-on spanks the PS3 Bluray player pretty badly. One more win for MS.

my launch 360 sees 4 hours minimum per night in a very small space in a cabinet and it has not so much as burped. 1 year warranty is nice and obviously put in place to match Sony. Nice move much appreciated and just another sign that MS listens to their customers. I havent heard of anyone getting completely screwed by MS over any 360 meltdowns, in fact they reimbursed most people who paid for repairs. Important to note however if their was no Sony (competition) MS would not be so kind.

to be a fair assessment. the Wii is prolly the first console to bring so many new people to gaming and that takes more than graphics and story lines.
360 owns gaming. Its not all about graphics but its got graphics and innovative developers under its wings bringing us the ultimate package.

I watched 3 auctions end with no bids for less tan retail. I dont think demand is as high for PS3 as Xbox was last season. My brother-in-law has 2 60 gig and one 20 gig and he cant recoup his money on them and may take a loss. Oh well he made a killing last year with the 360's he sold
BK pocketbike racer is a really really good game. Its short but it has that mario kart appeal that I really enjoy. Definately need to pick it up. The achievements are fun as well like the wheelie and the 50 ft jump.

I cant believe it. anyone who is wanting one head over now and get one. - on this topic- The cell is built with media streaming in mind so its not surprising that PS3 is the best blu-ray player available since its the only one with this processor on board.

this article was very positive about the 360. It seems that there is a clear strategy behind the xbox (except Japan of course). I actually find it hard to believe a Sony "fanboy" would post this. My conclusion is that the poster is a gamer not a fanboy at all.

I think this is going to be a good year for games. There are tons of great titles hitting all three systems this year. I get the sense that gamers are more eager than ever to snap up the games lately due to the hype and production budgets going into them. Its a great time to be a gamer thats for sure. i bet its a good time to invest in capcom with lost planet getting the reviews and demo play time it is in addition to dead rising being the top game in Japan right now.
