Sony fanboys make it sound like people only buy PS3's at walmart and that if walmart numbers where used the ps3 would dominate. Truth is if you go into walmart they only have a handful of each system to start with and the only one that really sells is the wii. Walmart shoppers sure as hell arent buying the premium consoles there and if they are percentage wise walmart figures are only going to favour the 360 over the ps3 just like every other retailer in North America.

I have both consoles and can say that my xbox blows my ps3 away. all i do with my ps3 is play divx from a usb drive. 360 is a game machine. i still havent figured out what the ps3 is good for besides wasting space in my media room. I am sure if all i owned was a ps3 I would be satisfied but as it stands I get all multiplatform games on 360 and only good exclusives for ps3 which equal 1 so far Drakes fortune which has zero replay value. Both Great games. I liked gears better just becuase I like alien monster shooters more so than shooting people. If Naughty did a good apocalyptic Resi Evil type of game it would be the greatest game ever produced. I dont want to spoil anything for those who havent played Uncharted but the last 25% of the game is where I really started to get into it.
This game is boring and generic at best. If we continue to praise mediocrity than thats all we will get in the future. GOTY? Get the fvck outta here. Some people are way to quick to praise anything that comes out on PS3 as the game of all games. Give it a rest and let the game speak for itself. If this is the best I can expect from my PS3 than I am not impressed at all.

are you saying the game isnt good enough to justify buying a 360 if it was exclusive to xbox? i thought this was a system seller, it shouldnt matter which system. You basically insulted the game. I have both systems and if it came out on both I would get it on 360 for the achievements. I am glad it is PS3 exclusive since my PS3 is very literally collecting dust atm other than the occasionaly divx via usb drive so I look forward to playing exclusive content.

I have both an upconverting samsung player and the ps3. Ps3 does a better job. it is a little louder than the standalone unit but compared to my 360 its silent. I got rid of my hddvd addon a while back not because of the format war thing but because the 360 setup was just too distracting even with the volume up. I have only watched one bluray and it looks and sounds great. As far as a media hub i believe the ps3 is king but for games my 360 rules the den.
I don't see any tears being shed. I think Sony fanboys are making a bigger deal out of this than is neccesary. Nobody really cares. So this is a victory for sony. I am happy cause now I can justify keeping my PS3 bluray player, but honestly I play games on my 360 and watch movies on my ps3. As gamers Sony fanboys should be as embarrassed as anyone to be wrapped up in all this. To each his own. I am glad the war is over now I can start building a collection.
Well that just justified my PS3 purchase. Glad i sold my hd add on a month ago. I only use my ps3 for divx and photos etc. now looks like i got one kick ass media player with bluray being the next gen format. I am sad that HDDVD lost as I just liked it but I am glad that this stupid format war is over. At least we will finally see some decent movie releases when the players hit a reasonable level of adoption which should increase after this news.
i play cod4 on 360 and it is also great. really a toss up but I think Uncharted was definately the PS3 exclusive of the year. I still think about how beautiful the environments were. It felt like participating in a movie and that is the first time I felt that in a game. I really enjoyed the jumping swinging around on stuff and the really great camera work. Bottom line COD4 overall game of the year multiplatform Uncharted PS3 game of the year and 360 exclusive I cant say cause I havent stopped...
This ruling would drive more people to the itunes store which is already making billions. If anything I would bet this would be good news for apple. Nothing is going to kill the ipod.

mine gets hot enough on its own. On another note they should drop the charges on the hd dvd drives since those arent worth anything anyway.
