When the PS3 gets its heavy hitters are bluray movie sales going to drop dramatically. I truely believe that sony engineered the game drought to push blu ray sales. They never needed to worry about losing the game console war but the format war was the real concern. If they win it will mean a huge win for sony and a return to the throne for the former king of electronics. This is business and Sony knows what they are doing.

The DVD is hardly profitable anymore. I bought a box of serial a couple years back that came with a free dvd movie. Studios cant rake in huge bucks when the media has been devalued in the consumers eyes the way dvd has. Dont expect prices of HD movies to come down anytime soon because the studios wont let that happen. They are dropping prices of the players to below cost but the movies are still $30 a pop. I like the games on 360 better. That is just my opinion. i know I will get disagrees from the Fanfags even though this is just an opinion. So far I havent gotten my money's worth out of the ps3, I would sell it on craigslist but the site is flooded with brand new sealed 80 gigs for $450 delivered no tax. i dont want to lose that much of my investment. I havent turned on my PS3 for over a month. I suppose I will use it when my 360 Red rings on me again.
sorry but thats the only game in the catalogue that interests me at the moment. Multiplats go to my 360 every time so I sit and patiently wait for the next exclusive that sparks my interest. I am getting KZ2 and GT5 for sure. other that I use it for movies. This is not a burn I love it as a media player way more than my 360 which is too noisy to be of any use for movies or music. If xbox ppl disagree with me you havent heard my refurbed box its absolutely unbearable.

COD4 and uncharted look as good as that.. This isnt in game I bet so hard to say. I would rather not look at prerendered clips it just leads to dissappointment. This doesnt look at all beyond the scope of current gen consoles.

Sony LCD screens are made by samsung so get which ever is the best deal when you shop. You cant lose when you choose between those two brands.
At some point you just gotta get what you can afford at the time and enjoy it. The waY I see it, last year I wanted a sharp aquos 1080p which were $4000, I couldnt afford that at the time so I bought a Samsung for $2000, looks great and I have had a year of HD gaming on it. Now the Sharps are $1500. I could go out now buy the sharp and have 2 40" HDTV's for less than I would have paid for just one last year.
or borrow a friends and copy it or buy it black market. I dont think anyone with half a brain would bother downloading a 50 gb game. Piracy blows, it leads to higher game prices and more locked down systems. When i was younger and broke i did it but I have changed my ways and buy everything. I found that if i buy a game i play it more and usually get more outta it since I feel i have invested in it.
true what others say. The 360 demo did suck some pretty musty balls. Call of duty 4 delivers the goods on both systems so no need for a sub par version of a great game. It seemed like blacksite minus the aliens. I predict this game gets low review scores and flops horribly.
weak excuse. by this time last year gears sold millions of copies and in comparison would have still made this list now with a similar install base the ps3 has currently. not one ps3 game has matched those sales. All those ps3's out there and yet no game sales. My ps3 sits there turned off since I finished drakes fortune. The ps3 is an extremely popular movie player but as a game machine it caters to a small minority of gamers.

I like sequels personally but your comment is absurd. 360 has more titles than ps3 - fact. for every game you listed the 360 has at least one parallel title so there is variety on both platforms.

My buddy bought one these two years ago and even before the intel chipsets you could just go buy kingston ram and stick it in yourself, at that time he paid $80 for an additial 1 gb and installed it right in front of me keep in mind that was $80 two years ago so probably cheaper now. Apple was charging $200 for the same thing across the street. poor apple users rarely know anything about hardware.
