I too wish games got back to the basics and were more addictive. New games don't seem to hold my interest as much as old ones used to.

I have to agree with Iwata on this one.
The Wii is grabbing non gamers, not really because of its family friendly looks through ads but its ease of use. Kinda the same reason why people choose the iPod over other mp3's even though it has less memory, features, etc for more money. The mass market likes intuitive design, and the best design is that which makes things easier, in an attractive package.

I do wish Nintendo did more connectivity between the Ds and Wii. Such a wasted potential.

Honestly with Metroid, Mario, Sin and Punishment, Zelda, and Endless Ocean coming next year I'll have way to many games to play just from Nintendo.

Games are supposed to be fun for everyone. That is why Video games were made, to be fun. You think Pacman and Galaga were aimed towards the 18-30 year old male demographic? No they were made because they were fun for all ages.

One of the worse articles I have ever read. I hate when people do editorials without looking up numbers and facts and instead just look to what people "think" is true.
Guitar Heroes are fun, hopefully this one will be one of the better ones.
Game looks good, but remember those screens are from the pc version.
150,000 copies in June alone is pretty good imo.
It would be a nice idea, actually just make a No More Heroes fighting game with Mortal Kombat-like fatalities :)
