That is my biggest complaint. Capcom releases RE5 exclusively on the HD twins with a production value more enormous than we can think of.

Has any third party developer ever thought of maybe bringing a core franchise exclusively to the Wii with the same production value?
You honestly don't think RE6 exclusively on Wii wouldn't sell millions?

Instead they make it an onrails shooter/spinoff thinking ease of use means anything to the M-rated audience it is tar...

I would almost agree with this article if and only if the author did more research on the subject.

I find it interesting how the author thinks spending $250 for a Wii is an impulse buy.

I also find it funny how he didnt mention House of the Dead or the conduit which are stated by Sega to both be profitable and a success.

He seems to not include info to drive the article in a certain direction. Just alittle odd.

This game does look good. I'm curious to see what other changes they make from the originals to add scare.

Im diggin the motorcycle minigame. Those 8-bit mini games sure are creative.

Hmm seems like it may just be your copy.

My girl and I have played it for approx. 6 or so hours today and have yet to have a flaw in the software.

This game is worth the $60 for me. I can see where you're coming from as no Wii game has ever been that much, but for me the amount of extra modes and polish in this game compared to last years World Tour is enough for me to pay the extra $10.

This game has more features than the hd twins for the same price.......im not even kidding, Roadie Mode is where it is at.

My girl bought the game today and watching her (and me playing some songs) i can tell there is way more polish in every mode and the interface than last year.

Better than last year, so far for us.

Great score

Only bad part? You have to spend $60 dollars on the title for Wii (same price as the hd twins) instead of the normal $50, of course you are getting more modes and the Roadie Battle is a lot of fun.

Ive noticed that most people commenting on endings are doing so to games that have released this generation or last generation....makes you wonder.

This list seems to be mostly a modern list.....where is Secret of Mana?

Hmm...i have a better answer than all the ones listed in the article. The fact that hardcore gamers hate the Wii as much as they do is actually because the Wii is the market share leader this generation. If the Wii were in 3rd place, people would make fun of it (because is does gaming differently), but not to the extent that they do.

It would make me mad too knowing that an inferior piece of equipment is selling more than superior grade equipment. Fact is hardcore gamers can't ch...

check the Neogaf link...its all there..including incomes for third parties. The charts are right. It just goes back way further than this years fiscal reports. You would have to frequent Neogaf to know that though, so i can see where the confusion comes from.

Ign gets paid to be unbaised. Instead they come off as the Fox News of video game journalism. Wait isn't Ign owned by Fox ?

You post a picture of a car flooded...even with current technology a common car would have a hard time in that kind of road conditions.

"the entire purpose of an assembly line is to mass produce, increasing supply and lowering the cost to the consumer making it available to all."

The above quote is my point. Hitting the mass market with a cost efficient product is always a less riskier proposition than trying to catter to the premium. Your argument seem...

Are you high.

Did you know that even the president at the time didnt like cars?

"Nothing has spread socialistic feeling more than the autmobile, a picture of the arrogance of wealth." - Woodrow Wilson

This quote is pre-Model T

or how bout this one by the Literary Digest at that time:
"the ordinary horse-less carriage (car) is at present a luxury for the wealthy, and although its price will probably fall in the future, it...

Fad?
You forgot some other more well known "fads":

Apple products (itunes, ipod, etc.)
Blackberry
Flat panel lcd's (plasma is a better tech so why did the inferior lcd get more popular?)
Cell phones making home phones obsolete
Mp3 (mp3 sound quality is considered low-fi compared to cd's, how are they getting popular?)

Did you actually know that the Ford Model T was actually a not the first car made and at the time there were do...

It not about motion controls..that is the tech behind what really matters, ease of use. Casuals don't play games because of the violence it is more about the complex controls that have been getting more complicated as we have gone from 2d to 3d.

Everything else is a result of ease of use. motion controls, affordability, the upcoming "demo play". All are there to get you playing the game, even if you suck. The think World of Warcraft got to be the number 1 online game be...
