If true, then awesome.
It would be nice if the game followed the movie, and not just Batman in some redundant open world mission based crap. Open the game like the movie, not in a cinematic, but in actual gameplay of the bank heist playing as the Joker. It should switch back and forth through playable characters as often as the movie changed focus. There are other ways to expand a game beyond the limits of a movie besides adding 30 "stop the mugging" missions.
Henry Hatsworth is a puzzle-platformer, apparently with time manipulation elements. Its far closer to ripping off Braid than Prof. Layton. What an ill informed, crappy article. How about looking into your subject matter before you start ranting.
learn . to . laugh
I would like to play it with my kids, but every time I think of this game I get all mad Scientist-ish. I assume they will cry when they see Demon Overlords devouring Sackboys and kittens from their thrones in Hell. Kids just don't understand Dante's Inferno, nor should they. I might have to buy another PS3 to appease them.
I miss the sprite graphics though. Some things are just better pixelated, like exploding in a smoldering ball of green puss after banging a back alley hooker without protection.
The radio is an awesome idea.
Browser still needs more flash, and a higher memory limit. I'm tired of the "page is too big and has been replaced by a blank page" notification.
Outraged Parents: OH NOES! HOW WILL WE EVER KEEP THIS FILTH OUT OF OUR CHILDRENS' HANDS?!?
Sensible People: Uh, I dunno, pay attention to them? Be a PARENT? Or you could play through it yourself first and then decide if it's really all that bad, you sensationalistic, media brainwashed tools.
Sony announced a little thing called the Phyre Engine. Its a free, fully functional game engine built specifically to develop for PS3. Not only that it also supports Havok, and Insomniac's free Nocturnal tools. If someone has skills, credibility, and a well realized concept they can contact Sony and receive this. Complete a game, and submit it to PSN, and - pending approval - it will find shelf space in the PsStore. The thing is, this is already available, just not to every random kid who thi...
Doesn't anyone else think this is a mistake? Misprint? Should be PS3?
Bizarre, I wonder if Sony knows about a little string of stores called Gamestop. Just a hunch but they might have some decent luck selling these cards there.
"what a 'insert noun here'!!! "
"LBP is sooooooo..... 'GAY' "
Using the big words I see.
Your anger and nonexistent ability to carry on a discussion without regressing into name calling and homophobic rhetoric shows that your maturity level is sadly lacking. Yes, I think I have a fairly large capacity for imagination. Do I think that I'm part of some "Imaginary Elite"? No. But to say that LBP's capacity for creativity is limited to...
After beating Uncharted so many times without the intention of clearing all the medals, it was really fun to kinda meticulously blow through it with specific intent. I went for all trophies in one play through, but realized I would come up short one anyways because I had to go through again on crushing. Even still, after the 10 or so times I beat it before the Trophy patch, they managed to get me to drop Eden and Battlefield:BC to play through it 2 more times just for a couple trophies. I say...
The beauty of LittleBigPlanet is that it is as pretty as you want it to be. So if it looks "Plain" that's probably a reflection of the depth of your imagination. Take gMod, and put it on a console. Being a hardcore gamer, that should probably be something exciting for you to look forward to.
Japan established the Survival Horror genre( Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Siren, etc.) and Japanese gamers are historically more interested in games with a deep story. It seems TGS be the perfect place to show Alan Wake after years of a media blackout? MS has been trying awfully hard to court the japanese gamer if you haven't noticed. It doesn't matter anyways as Remedy has stated it won't show at TGS, which is probably a mistake.
Resistance2? Killzone2? Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm? Heavy Rain? Socom? MAG? Uncharted2? The next Ratchet and Clank Future? Jak and Daxter? God of War 3? GT5? White knight Stories? The new Team ICO game? Incognito's new game? New Twisted Metal?
From what I understand Sony has their future eggs in lots of game baskets. No doubt LBP will be huge, and will do wonderful things for PS3. If LBP fails( and there is a large consortium of naysayers out there that are drooling for that to happen ...
Halo3 PS3 CONFIRMED!
Creativity and imagination are stupid, give this guy a medal!
Wow, no GTA? Maybe they should have put a chainsaw in IV o_O
Yeah, cause Spiderman 3 was awesome. Really though, games are coming closer and closer to giving us a truly interactive cinematic experience, someday one game will get it right. For instance, I like the idea of the Ghostbusters game being a 'true' sequel to the movies, if done right it can give an experience that couldn't be matched. done wrong though, and yeah, it would have been better off doing something else.
