This game is going to be ridiculously good, with the help of the genius gamers out there who will keep creating amazing platforming maps for everyone to play. That's UNLIMITED (so to speak) amounts of amazing fun. Can you even imagine!?!?

I have a real job. I went to college, graduated with a bachelors of science degree, and now I work in Washington DC.
It's an expensive area to live, and $400 and $500 are a big difference to me. I may end up buying the $500, but it'd be after some better games come out for the system - in a few months at least.

And now I've graduated and have a job and some money to spend (on a budget of course though).
Everyone who is saying that PS3 doesn't need BC because everyone who buys one has a PS2 is wrong. Sony should be trying to EXPAND their consumer base. I don't own a PS2, and I'd love the BC feature so I could buy some of the great PS2 games for cheap and play them for the first time while I'm waiting for the good PS3 games to come out. And maybe I don't have an extra hundred dollars to spend on the 60 gig version, or on an old PS2 from ebay.
This story brought the cream of the crop of N4G to its comments thread. So far I haven't seen a fanboy comment here yet!

lighting looks good (thought in general it seems a bit dark, but cool when the gun fires)

However, I generally give and take bubbles based on if I want to continue to hear someone's opinion. I don't want to hear MK_Red's anti-nintendo jargon just as much as I don't want to hear TheMART's anti-ps3 jargon (right system?) or some ps3fanboy's anti-halo jargon. Maybe 4 was an awful score, maybe it deserved higher. But at least they played the real game, and not just a demo.
Also, I'm sick of MK_Red thinking he knows it all. Just because a game has "kool" (wtf cigarettes?) art, is longer than HS, and uses a tilting controller, doesn't merit it getting between a 7-9.

I love this series.
Clearly there's a big graphical improvement between these two games.
However, I noticed something strange. In almost every comparison, the EEIII shot was in a more advanced stage than the EEII shot. That might not mean something always, but if you're comparing Scouts in EEII to Paladins in EEIII of COURSE the Paladins are going to look better. Even if the graphics weren't improved, they'd have more detail.
I don't think Sony released the PS3 a year early.
I think the developers started working the PS3 games a year late!

Just because you own a 360 or a PS3 and you hate the Wii, probably mostly due to its graphics, doesn't mean it's not in competition with the other systems. You don't see the 360 fanboys who always hate on the PS3 saying that the PS3 isn't in competition with the 360 (and vice versa, just didn't wanna work out the wording!).
