Many of the water controls were frustrating for me. Especially when I had to "fly".
I agree with the article.
1. They took art direction ideas from the movie.
2. They took plot direction ideas from Jacob's Ladder. (which by the way you should see if you're a SH fan - a lot of the effects in the games are taken from this movie)
I realize that with a new team it might be worrisome to be "too" innovative - for fear of ruining the game. Also the fact that SH4 was the worst of the series may play into this. But bleh, I'd like to see some o...
I think the whole Gamespot thing was stupid - it was just one review and who says the reviewer knows more about games than we do anyway?
But if I spent years making a game, and some idiot reviewer gave a bullsh*t excuse for deducting points, I might say something about it too.
Ah well, the sooner this stops getting discussed the better. We all know R@C is an awesome game. I can't wait to see what Gamespot says about MG's variety in two weeks though...
Agreed.
I wouldn't pay either.
Do want!
If I owned a PSP....
Bleh. At $90 for the Wii (for only one guitar) I definitely can't afford this. I wouldn't buy this game without getting a second guitar, and I *HAVE* to buy Mario Galaxy in a couple weeks. We'll see how the gods of the winter holidays treat me.
Glad to see it's selling well on the Wii though - especially after all the criticisms of Wii attache rates.
" I was playing the PS3 build for a few hours tonight and it is really, really fantastic. Amazingly smooth and solid. I think you PS3 users are in for a huge treat with UT3."
How is that NOT praise?
(coming from a non-PS3 owner)
There IS no overconfidence of Nintendo at the moment.
They're selling out their systems week after week, month after month.
Developers are flocking to the Wii - now the Wii will have Okami, MH3, No More Heroes, and even SquareEnix is testing the waters with FF:CC.
It looks like GH3 may sell the most copies on the Wii, despite the recent attemps to call out the system for having low attache rates.
Any confidence that Nintendo has is completely justified at t...
Omg it can play CDs!!!!11
Edit: How dare you disagree with me! I'm only stating a fact. There are plenty of reasons to buy a PS2 at it's cheap pricepoint - but no one is buying it because it can play CDs.
Wow. That's one hell of a review.
He said he couldn't think of a single imperfection in the game.
Not one.
Are you kidding me?
Unlockables is like my favorite game feature...ever.
Every game should have loads of amazing unlockables.
I'm sorry, these graphics just look godawful.
There's no way I'm wasting money on this for my Wii. There are too many better games out there, or coming out soon.
*sigh*
I even got a disagree.
I really do feel for Twizlex though.
I try my best to be nonbiased and just speak the truth, or my opinion of the truth. But I've been labeled both a Sony and 360 fanboy at various points - once I was called both in the same hour.
It's sad.
@8.1
Shaka is a diehard Sony fanboy.
He hates all things Nintendo.
(I'm dead serious)
I do agree with you Charlie. Read over my post again and you'll see I worded things that you said in similar, but different ways.
The only thing is that you cant base PS3 sales of MH3 in Japan on how MH2 sold on PSP. There are a heck of a lot more PSPs over there than there are PS3s.
The problem isn't the games.
It's the fact that they've only been around for 8 years.
Konami was founded in 1969.
Title is true.
Though I feel like the same should be said of 360 fanboys.
mirite?
It looks better than almost every 3rd party Wii game - and for 1/3 the cost. I'm still lol'ing about that.
I don't care if 1UP gives MG a 7.5 (heh heh) or a 10 - it'll be amazing either way!
