Unfortunately if I'm going to drop ~~$100~~ to play PS2 games, I might as well drop $500 for a PS3 and get many more years of new games out of it as well as the BC. Ah well!
There are only about 2 wii fanboys who actively post on N4G (as opposed to about 30 from each other console). Additionally, those of you who know The Round Peg knows that he's definitely not one of those two.
Regarding the actual predictions, seems like BS to me. They could end up being completely true, but there's no way to predict that now. Let's wait until January and then see the REAL numbers...
WB may make more money going both formats (for now), but if they choose Blu-Ray exclusively...HD-DVD is six feet under.

This seems to be about a 20 year old story...
But I remember this game! It was tough for a little kid!
I'm not saying the kid did anything right (and he'll rightly go to juvy)...but this is largely the parents' fault.
Watch that South Park episode where Cartman's mom hires a man to help her discipline Eric. That type of parenting is pretty much what can lead to an out of control kid like this... And it's not even exaggerated in the episode.

Maybe this story will have some merit once we see a Zelda sports title. One mini-side game that comes packaged with another product means absolutely nothing.

Seriously, though...it's freakin' Australia. This isn't Japan, US, or Europe - the big three. It's just Australia. Awesome country/continent/down-under/a ussie-place/thing, but the sales don't mean too much in the gaming market.
By the way, that isn't intended to say anything negative about how the 360 is doing. It's still doing really well, considering that it came out a year before the other consoles.

You make it sound like a gamer can only be a fan of one game or the other! It's very possible to like hardcore RPG and FPS games, while still loving first party Nintendo games. I know, because I do.
I'm pretty sure either this of Mario Galaxy will be GOTY. It's hard to compare two completely different games. Though I can definitely say that I wish I owned a 360 for this game.

"Professional" reviews don't matter. We all know this will be a great game regardless of what good or bad reviews it musters up.
If this is true I know where I'm getting my copy! Maybe I'll also pick up Fire Emblem or another game with it too with the gift card. :D
