In the trailers I saw for this game the graphics looked awful. I'm pretty sure the game will fail. And that sucks because it's an awesome novel and I'm hopeful for the movie.
1. Money - I do have enough to buy it now, but I'll feel better about the purchase if I have more saved up.
2. Time - I work 45 or more hours a week and have a social life, so I only have an hour or two each day to play games. SMG and Z&W will keep me occupied for about a month at that pace. No rush to get the PS3.
3. Games - The games will still be there in Summer '08 - I can still play R&C, Uncharted, and whatever else there is then, and I'll enjoy it as much as if I...

And if it pleases you, I'm still planning to buy a PS3 sometime by Summer '08.
But it's hard for me to enjoy life without ripping what other people love.

I have 30 stars so far, and I haven't felt nauseous once. People who hate Nintendo sure do have weak stomachs...

But luckily I bought Z&W for myself last week, and I'm buying another copy for my brother for the holidays (using my $25 Toys R Us mario galaxy gift card of course!). We all just need to buy two copies, obviously.

The Wii kicked ass and took names.
And in advance of any fanboys who disagree, or say "wii sux lolol!!1", just look at the numbers. The Wii sold 42% more units than the 360. That's a giant difference. And it's a fact, regardless of how much the "wii sux", it sold a hell of a lot better than the other systems in October. Imagine what Wii sales would look like if units weren't sold out everywhere?
Xbox Live started what console gaming online should become. But it would have eventually happened regardless, MS just jump-started the whole process.
In regards to paying for the service...it f*cking sucks and MS sucks for making people pay for it. But that doesn't demean the actual service - which is excellent.

I just want to comment on LBP. I'm a Wii owner, and I love casual games as well as hardcore games. But I can't imagine Nintendo coming out with a casual game that looks to be as much fun as LBP may be. I don't even own a PS3 and I'm psyched for the game!

Zack & Wiki is the second best Wii game in my opinion, and it's 3rd party.
But if you'd like to go by Metacritic...
2 of the top 5 rated Wii games are 3rd party.

It's way too hard to tell right now - and anyone who thinks "their" system will definitely be on top is probably a fanboy.

The first step to gaining bubbles is correct grammar and spelling.
I guarantee they're thinking about it, even if it's just in the "storyboarding" phase. But I'm sure the second iteration will have much improved graphics over it's predecessor, and Blizzard wants everyone to be able to play their game, no matter what kind of computer they own. That's a large part of WoW's success (and it didn't hurt that is has the name 'Warcraft' in it).
