I use and Xbox controller on my PC and of course a Dual Shock 4 on my PS4 Pro. I much prefer the Dual Shock controller. I can use both it's just a preference of mine.
I played through the Order 1886 3 times. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love this game.
Please note that the GTX 1080 uses GDDR5X vram not just GDDR5. There is a difference. More is not always better as seen on many PC comparisons with current games. A PC with 16 gig of ram does not always out perform a PC with 8 gigs of ram. It's not that simple of an equation.
I do not like the permadeath idea. I'm not that good at games and would like to finish it. I will be doing steam backups just in case. Please don't say just gif Gud as it is not always possible. I'm 61 and the reflexes aren't quite as sharp as
they once were.
I still play some games at 1440p on my PC (GTX 1080) as my (all?) 4K TV upscales to 4K automatically and still look much better than 1080p. I'm really glad I got the PRO for games lie Horizon, Uncharted etc and it is an upgrade from the original PS4. Not a must upgrade but worth it IMHO.
Sorry but no. 1080 @ 60fps and 1440p @ 30fps. I was trying to decide on PC or PS4 pro and decided on PC but now maybe the Pro version would have been a good choice too. 1440p and 30fps for a game of this type would be awesome I think.

Ummm. Not always run rings around a comparable PC. Way to general of a statement. I do find that it's the art style and story that make a good game to me regardless of platform.
Resoltion and assets are great but there is so much more to graphical fidelity than that. I agree the x1 specs are good for the dollar, no question. But things like anisotropic filtering, AA, depth of field and so many other things will not match to what MS is saying about the X1. I don't blame them though as it is their job to sell their product but some people think this is going to redefine gaming, it's not. Many people have already gone passed this machine. I don't buy new machines to play old games. Truly a waste of power using backwards compatibility as a reason to buy a new console.
On topic of gpu, does the GTX 1070 etc not use gddr5x ram? Little faster than normal. Can't remember for sure. Anyway specs on X1 look good but disappointed that with all being said too many games at 30 fps. I have 1 machine with an AMD R9 380 that does most games at 1080p high to ultra settings at 60 fps. I'm noticing a trend on this site as of late. Ever since E3 and the Scorpio reveal everything Sony is bad. The games are looking bad. Sony is holding back gaming. Sony and their cross play opinion is wrong. Sony is losing touch with gamers. I realize opinions are a personal thing and I'm not judging, just my observation of the situation lately.

I don't think the price is unreasonable. Heck, I paid $800 for my GTX 1080. I won't be buying one but I not because of the price. For what you get I think the price is fair.
Honestly, Destiny 2 should be 60 fps on both platforms. Both machines (X and Pro) have that capability now. It is the original PS4 and Xbox One possibly holding that back. Again, Spencer taking shots across the bow of everyone but him. Arrogance supreme.
Spencer is shooting his mouth off as usual. He's starting to get really annoying. Not that Microsoft have not made similar deals in the past? Timed exclusives is not much different than this in my opinion. I believe Spencer thinks now that they have the most powerful console they can call the shots. Spencer, go home.
