HZD overrated??? 100% Disagree. IMHO.
What does that have to do with this article?
Rockfish Games CEO and co-founder Michael Schade also stated to us that the GPU is very close to a GTX 1060.
C'mon guys! which is it??? smfh.
Doubt it. Plus, I have now heard how the GPU power is like this GPU then that GPU. Show me games that I want to play. Power does not equal a good game. MS, stop all the BS and deliver once in a while please.
20fps is the best way to experience this game. smh. Not according to Digital Foundry.
Also, on the PC side to match the XONE there is no need for 60fps to enter into the equation as most XONE games are stuck at 30fps.
Wow! That's a mighty fine list of games there. /s Are any of those exclusives?
But at 30 fps (most games) is it really a pipe dream on a 1060? Not sure how the 1060 would qualify here but 30 fps is much much easier to hit at 4K than 60 fps.
You're full of it my friend. To be blunt.
You mean : Sometimes True 4K gaming right? / I make me laugh.
2160p is not always as noticeable compared to 1440p as one might think. All 4K screens upscale and some do a very nice job. Nope. Not native, but very good regardless. Again, resolution is only part of what is displayed on screen. Effects, shadows, AO, etc. etc. and then of course Art style. 1080p textures at 4K or 1440p will look about the same. I'm not promoting one system over another but this fascination with the 4K buzzword gets out of hand quite quickly.
I...
I guess when you are used to 900p then the improvement will be noticeable. /I jest.
You gonna put this bunk list with every one of your posts? Kind of annoying making it so long to scroll passed. Again...Cloud Computing heh heh...Smart Glass heh heh Fastest Network heh heh. Some of those jokes are actually quite funny. :)
Very nice list. So many falicies and opinion based arguments though. Cloud computing??? Still??? That was the funniest of the bunch. :O
You forgot to add IMHO. Iv'e played through The Order 3 times now and to me, IMHO it's great.
Note to MikeFizzled: I can read just fine and I do understand resolution. Saying that let's look at a current game scenario here. Overwatch on PC that I play at 4K. Looks good but up close looking at the textures (walls, bricks etc.) regardless of what resolution I set the game on look pretty much the same. At 1440p and at 4k there is little discernible difference as far as texture quality is concerned. So, without touching assets the games will look better but will not rival a game ...
Native 4k resolution or not the textures are not 4k and thus I consider that to be upscaled. 4k image and 600p textures is still not TRUE 4k. Anyway you slice it they will not look like current gen titles. Unless they remake all textures and assets it is not 4k and this is more MS misdirection.
So now upscaling is good again??? No thank you to 640p (or whatever lores they are) games upscaled to 4k. Not a selling feature IMHO.
4K@60 with all graphics settings on epic (unlike PS4 Pro) ??? All settings on epic, ultra in many of today's games cannot hold 60 fps on an EPIC PC. More PR jargon for the jargonot! (I think it's punny :).
Consider the looks of Overwatch on epic compared to the Witcher 3 on medium. Witcher 3 still looks better overall with better textures, lighting etc so articles like this really do make me chuckle.
But not the MS game department. Besides, they've been bigger for a very long time and it hasn't helped them yet.
