You've got it backwards.
Oblivion is pretty horrid. The level scaling pretty much destroys any sense of accomplishment in taking down tougher enemies when every damn bandit is running around with a glass armour set. And the game world is the most bland and generic Bethesda has ever created.
Morrowind was better on just about every level and now even looks better - with mods - than Oblivion.

Can't wait to hear about multiplayer. Really baffled that the Guerrilla's didn't catch on in a bigger way.
Compare Thief to Splinter Cell Conviction. Compare Deus Ex to Invisible War. Compare Arma II to Operation Flashpoint: DR. etc.
There is an influx of stupid people with no patience playing consoles and the games that cater to them are, without fail, worse. PC is fast becoming the last platform where mechanically intricate (i.e better) games can thrive.
Deadly Premonition is really interesting detective sim that unfortunately believes its action sections are fun. Shame it didn't go all adventure game. Still hilarious though and one of the better games this year.
Bring some of the open ended level design from multiplayer (really amazing multiple ways to tackle objectives) to singleplayer. Uncharted still hasn't quite achieved that perfect balance of the linear sandbox.
Maybe not as good as people make it out to be but a poor man's Metroid is still inherently more interesting design wise than a linear action game. Batman license definitely gave it something of a pass, though.
The Volition part of this relationship excites me more than the Del Toro part.
No. Bland questions get bland answers. "UUUUUUGH HOW MANY GUNS ARE IN THE GAME?"
Game Journlolism.
Show some insight, be creative.
Run these as tv spots and for once Deus Ex will attain the audience it deserves.
Jury's still out on the game itself.
Tomb Raider never was and never should be a strictly linear game. Two different franchises achieving two very different game designs.
Uncharted is a fine franchise. But I prefer the Tomb Raider's slower pace and open ended design. They're two very different kinds of games and each has its place.
Try playing the games rather than parroting nonsense about the series' perceived obsolescence. Games have been fantastic, just stuck in some shit fiction.
None of the other Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider's would suggest otherwise. Relevant, excellent games (aside from combat) stuck in irrelevant fiction.
More Juggernaut.
Agreed. Gametrailers is a shitty pun fest.
She is a good looking old lady...
Criticised for too much content? I don't know what you're reading but it's stated rather clearly that the problem is the organisation.
The bigger issue is simply that it's a pretty poor game.
