everyone is talking about which is better and who will benefit the greatest from GTA IV 360 or ps3 but has anyone asked the question whether this could go some way to bridging the gap between those two respective consoles and the WII.
The is what i think is the best thing about this game in terms of console sales is that it makes things more interesting than the Wii wiping the floor with everything else.
Competition = good for us.
If its got the games I LIKE i will buy it. Would love to see Metroid Prime in HD.
Learn to play a real guitar it's much more rewarding.

I think this will give some indication as to whether people are buying the ps3 for games or blue-ray. Because if it's blue-ray sales will remain roughly the same due to the ps3 is still the best player for the price were as the customer is perhaps less interested in the games. however if it's games then I expect the 360 too take quite a few sales from the ps3 because your getting a similar experience for less money.

why would you take a chance on hardware that has a higher(unsatisfactory 33%) probability of failing. Yes it has a bigger library now, but it was launched earlier. By the end of the two consoles respective life cycles( 360-6 years | ps3-9 years) you will probably see the ps3 has the stronger library. if you cant afford both it's about getting you money's worth. xbox--$280/6 = $46 per year of quality gaming, ps3 $399/9 = $44 per year of quality gaming. innovation is the key. Be the first to do something more often, I recognise xbox live was good achievement but they need more. Not just bigger is better. Note I have no bias I want all systems to do well = better games.

In a genre that is over crowded 8 is impressive, 9 would be outstanding.
I think it is a solid shooter, multi-player and co-op is where i see this game excelling. I'll wait for the review/rent. Graphics I would say are could be a bit better. But then this is a first effort and so theres something to build on for the future. Hopefully this game even if it terns out not great will benefit the next timesplitters.
