Yes but you cant code to the metal easily on a fragmented platform like PC. This is why DX12 and mantal are so impressive. But since everyones XBox one is the same in terms of hardware (no fragmentation) they are already coding to the metal i can assure you. Performance gains from Dx12 for xbox one will be minimal. Am i a game dev ( im an android dev ) no, do i have common sense yes.
If you run it (PC Version) at a lower res you might get better framerate. But then it would just be like the PS4 version so...
PC where you can spend more than a $1500 on a games machine and still get frame rate issues. Too much hardware fragmentation...

So why say the mechanics looked very last gen at all? Since you've just suggested it has little bearing on the quality of a games mechanics. Would it not be better to be more specific about the things you dislike about the mechanics. Then maybe you would have an argument (Albeit a subjective argument) instead of sweeping statements. I think i'll hold my judgement until E3 about the mechanics when I see a video longer than 3 minutes.
Oh so when gears comes out with the same mechanics this gen you'll be criticising that for the same thing. No thought not, troll harder ...
They said i would be short, look its obvious that the gameplay and the cinematics are too closely coupled to show too much as there would be huge spoilers. They're not gonna blow their load this early.

I think that was the company as a whole. So the PlayStation division may be doing well. Plus this is only the start of the generation, allot of money will have been spent on the launch.

The artical explains exactly why the consoles will do much more with the hardware they have than the equivalent pc.
Graphics don't matter, well... save some money and buy it for you 360, or your 7 year pc now worth $150.
