because it's their own product they exaggerate. fair assessment
oh and before you mention Sony, all companies do this. I'll judge it by looking at demos. Until i see lag free Hardcore games, genres like RTS,FPS,TPS,and hack and slash games i'm not interested.
yeh you use the fud generated by Microsoft to form your opinion.
I want that too but it would put dual shock players at a disadvantage.
compare mass effect sales to gears(2) and halo sales over a similar period. Oh and if its easy to pirate 360 games it's even easier to pirate pc games. I don't but thats not to say others wont. Will it sell large numbers of consoles on it's own I don't think so, but maybe a survey would say otherwise. PC sales are deceptive due to piracy, and given that don't you think that will eat into 360 sales. Oh and EA owns mass effect and ms don't get royalties.
You know what it makes me feel better, because It being on PC means I get to play a great game. I ask you; if I have a capable PC am I then going to go and purchase a 360 just to play it, no chance. Therefore the game is not a system seller, which is why people are getting b*tchy. Now halo, gears 2 that's a different matter.
set in the past maybe?
Natal needs to be both accurate and responsive in order to work for me. The Wand has been shown to be accurate and responsive, the slowest part of a computer is the input. Sometimes a gesture will not be responsive enough thats why you need buttons. The concept of Natal is fantastic but once you start to think about it it's pushing reality to imagine that it will be fast enough, given the price point they will be targeting. I mean would you pay $200+.
"What's the cache of having 128 players on a TEAM, if that entire team is divided into smaller independent squads? "
Warfare has moved on since 1914, lots of people split into squadrons. You don't walk slowly towards the enemy on mass.
Can't wait for this game I just hope when it arrives it's a little less buggy/hackable as MW2.
It's bad because it's ps3(Japan) exclusive which will sell at halo numbers. sigh
not sure if you were being sarcastic but I am fairly certain that good coders would make their code scalable. The problem comes when you introduce a new architecture.
As a chip set I think the cell has been reasonably successful, and I expect sony to use a form of the cell for the ps4.
ps3 is best place to get 3d. imagine having to buy a new blue ray player and tv. can't wait till my projectors firmware is updated to 3d
by the end of this year or early next year optoma are going to release a new version of their HD65 which will come 3d enabled. They intend to sell it at the price point of the current HD65 which is around £500 ( probably less in the states; most things are ). trade in your old TV and get this (150+ inches of 3d heaven).

They should have added mobile phone + touch screen functionality and sold it for £300+ sim free, less with contract

"here in the American media we are resigned to the fact that the PS3 might do well, it is a sad day"
