I completely agree. I think Sony is planning a Pro bundle with a game (I predict Wipeout Omega because it’s 4K/60FPS) for $349. It will be on shelves at that price right before X1X launches.

My gosh, Microsoft. Can you EVER get messaging right? True 4K, Console Launch Exclusive, VR support, and on and on. This machine is very impressive, too bad Microsoft will manage to verbally stumble themselves into irrelevance.
It’s really the only thing Microsoft has going for it. But from what the statistics show, it’s not a tremendous success. Neither is PSNow. But, what Sony is doing with fresh, new games IS a success and they are clearly focusing on that, unlike Microsoft. If you have no fresh new games to play, “Here play these old ones."
Bogus. Digital Foundry compared all versions. They mentioned no input lag, period. I trust these guys and they would've mentioned it if it were the case.

I’m sorry, bro but the prices for these accessories is way out of line. I can buy a micro USB cable to charge my PS4 controller for a couple bucks. A JoyCon Charging Grip is $30 (each!). Want a D-Pad? You have to buy the Pro controller separately for $70. Want to dock this thing to a second TV. That’s $90. This is just ridiculous.
As a parent, I feel sorry for all the parents that buy the system for their kid and a game and then later realize all of the additional costs. This thing is a money hole.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Another factor: the PS3 and especially the 360 had quite a lot of hardware failures and were re-purchased quite a bit. This Gen, the hardware is built so much better.
$40 is perfect. And I’m just happy games like this are still being made. R&C and now Yooka-Laylee. Please Developers, make more 3D platformers!
I think the Switch will sell well. And I’m pretty sure it will get good 3rd party support around launch. However, the 3rd party games MUST sell well for it to continue. So, it’s really up to Switch owners. If you want 3rd party games on the Switch, you better friggin’ buy them. WiiU had terrible 3rd party sales and that sealed it’s fate. The same could happen here.

I as well am tired of the hyperbole. It’s highly unlikely that UHD blu-rays will take off. And IF they do, guess what? Sony can add support through firmware. So stop the nonsense and focus on games.
I play Destiny on PS4 and I agree. These exclusives are stupid. I’d love to see cross play. And that could never happen if one console has maps / weapons / armor that another does not. We’re all gamers and we want to play Destiny together! #hugs !
