Unless i'm miss understanding, he re-tweeted a post which was saying "Sony fanboys are the worst". Fairly sure he should take a more professional stance in the public, as that is more or less him supporting fanboy insults, aimed at the competitions fanbase.
Great news. Can't wait.
Thats directly at a competitor though. Not at the fan base.
I just quickly thrown this together, i do agree that even as the writer - it is poor journalism. But after the way these lot use n4g to throw insults at each other, i thought just this once, i thought i'd post something like this.
I'm the one usually reporting stories like this, for their poor quality - and i'm not too bothered if it does not get through. I just think it is amazing to see a well known employee who's job it is - to speak to the public doing such things, and i'd li...
Its true, and its why i do like to play the majority of my online games on PC.
You'll get a "Good game" from the opposing team after a game finishes, you won't get a barrage of insults and racism from 12 year olds screaming over their headsets.
Of course, you still get your idiots - but there is usually a common respect for others online on many PC games, generally because of the higher cost of entry holds back the kids and that many pc gamers have been a...
I wouldn't say the best graphics for a driving game this generation, but its certainly a very pretty game in motion.
I don't think they're necessarily talking about an exclusive... because what other major franchise do sony own that is in the same genre of driving simulator?
"Also why cant you get it into your head that I never once mentioned AMD nor did I mean AMD will bring out one just as good at quarter the price.
This CPU is overpriced wether you like it or not."
I'm not sure where this "Why cant you get it into your head" stuff, you had never replied to me before and only one reply was about AMD. I assumed you were talking about AMD because intel don't usually undercut themself in 6 months - 12 months... and no...
Anyway, why is this useful?
For media! I bet you see one of these or a similar one with the same architecture in the new Mac pro's. Same with PC, for those massive media programs on the PC, they will take huge advantage of this.
I think people have taken in the whole "Todays applications don't use multiple cores" to heart, because many of the regular applications don't - its true. But games have been optimised for multiple cores now for a good few years. ...
And which is that? Because it is unlikely to be any AMD CPU. Yeah, it'll be much cheaper, but it won't match the performance and quality. I don't know why people have not accepted this yet, AMD have great prices vs performance setups for their CPUs, but don't match the speed.
I'm almost sure AMD know this too, they can't match the massive R&D budget Intel have, so they focus on what they are good at, going for mainstream powerful CPUs, while not being expensive.
Developers say "we're using 100% of the SPE's" meaning they are utlising them all, the media re-translate that as 100% of the power. Which is wrong.
This party was probably pre-planned, and wouldn't of been used for work time anyway, but it still is irritating watching it.
Mista T - i'm all for understanding what pressure developers are under, and the work they do. But i'm a consumer, and i shouldn't have to understand, i paid for this product and it should work. I'm not complaining much though.. have not had much time to play recently.
Yep ^^
They only actually gave an official release date last year. Before then, they had not. It was rumor and speculation.
I think they want to push it towards the end of the year, it may be their blockbuster for the holiday. Or at least one of them. They've already had too much in the first part of the year.
Unless he edited his original post. He is saying it is automatically a contender, which is agreeable. Along with games like ME2 and GoW3.
I'm not a Halo fan, as i keep saying. But Reach has caught my attention, i'll give it a try when it comes out.
The core PC audience is among the very hardcore. They won't follow trends or hype half as easy as much of the console audience, and i don't mean that in a bad way, because i'm in both those audiences.
But what i'm saying is that while many of you lot think Crysis was the be-all and end-all for PC games, you're completely wrong. Many bought it just to see what the graphics were like and dropped it, its rare to even find a PC gamer talking about that game when they speak /best/ PC ...
I also enjoy renting Blu-ray's instead, but the PSN (and xbox live, though not as often) stores just give that extra convenience, most of the time when i want to watch a film, it will be out of nowhere, i wasn't planning on watching one, but i now want to. So i'll quickly scan the store and rent something from there.
So it is good for that, unexpected rentals.
Sony is a massive player in the movie industry, so its only to be expected that they can pull together such resources easier than Microsoft.
I need to start renting/buying some HD films off the store.. probably will when i get my new tv..
While games like God of war 3 and Mass effect 2 are complete masterpieces - they're not the types of games that make the public look up and take note, because they're not breaking all entertainment sales records and all this.
These mainstream sites need to keep up if they're being watched in times like MW2s launch and they want to keep people reading their site about the game, so they're not going to say its an average game are they?
So it isn't them underrating th...

Its him. I'll take a screenshot incase he removes it too..

I just hope that, if this gets popular and spread around. He gets told for it, i don't think many in Microsoft would agree with helping insults about potential consumers being spread around, do you? :)
