I actually think they got it backwards, when I turn on my ps5 it’s so nice and next gen. it’s my console of the year.
But I turn on my series x more for the platform, ie gamepass. Platform of the year is xbox live/gamepass itself

I’ve seen a lot of people comment on the sound. I defo agree. I think in some games like apex you can hear people from really far away, maybe a little to far, but this as it stands is just too hard to pick out anything really
I had a great time playing. It’s far far from perfect, with many missing features. But it was a beta, with lots of features to play/test. There were many silly little bugs, but again… it was a beta test. A test on a build months old apparently. I just got a Philips 806. It’s absolutely awesome. It has Philips hue light’s built in the back as well and it might seem gimmicky but if you’re watching/playing something colourful or with lots of contrasting lights than the effect is great. It get really bright for a standard oled panel as well. And supports all the hdmi 2.1 features we want
I’m sorry, but reading these comments and the ones on the actual article I’m very confused. At the time the Kinect was reviled by many, it barely worked for anything but super basic gesture recognition, and even then it was barely. There where aspects of it that were interesting, but it was neither responsive enough or precise enough to be used in anything more than dancing games and basic sports games.

Yeah, me too. Started it on the ps5 then stopped because it feels a bit unbalanced and easy. Got to a point very quickly where you can hack and kill big groups of enemies from far enough away that they can’t see you or find you, it became boring. Then just thought I may as well wait until the next gen patch and come back to it and start a new game maybe.
But honestly, if that next gen patch comes next year I might just sack it. Or just come back to it some point in the futu...
Yeah, I agree, janky, ambitious and intriguing. But that budget art/design direction might be something that holds it back somewhat
Find it hard to believe you truly believe that. The lighting and weather effects alone in this vid are insane. Don’t get me wrong tlou looks great, super rich detailed environments that are pretty much unmatched anywhere, but it still has a somewhat cg style (I don’t know how to describe it). But this looks so real. At least it does on my phone screen, I’ll be hunting for this in 4K on you tube to watch on the tv later

Wow… that list. It’s more of an e3 2022 leak than anything😂. Those ps games surely won’t end up on gforce now, on the pc maybe but not on another streaming service. And the Xbox ones won’t go anywhere there isn’t gamepass will they?

4K was def noticeable, they never did a pro/x update for the PS4/one versions. It looked like it has a better draw distance/LOD. I don’t know, I was hoping for more. Fingers crossed it looks way better when we get to see gameplay.
