Every review I see for this says there were only ports on the Saturn and pc and they were both pretty poor. This isn’t true because I had it on the Dreamcast and it was awesome, I had 2 light guns and although they paled in comparison to the Namco guncon on the ps1, it all still worked amazingly well
I’ve loved battlefield since I first played 1942. I was so excited for 2042 because I always preferred the modern era games and 4 was my favourite. I bought it day one and stopped after about a week. If they think I’m willing to forget about 2042 and my purchase of that game and post forgetting about 2042 then become actually excited about the NEXT potential battlefield game then they’re idiots.
Fix 2042, then maybe. But my faith is diminished to the point of being practic...

It’s not disappointing at all. People need to manage their expectations. To make people pay again is ridiculous, that’s what brings the update into question. But the quality of life changes are very effective and even my wife could see it looked better visually. And 60fps is transformative.

I think we’ll all agree we don’t expect every game to have a story like the last of us, or the emotional impact of the last guardian. And nor should we.

I’m not bothered about exclusivity, I personally think if that’s the route they go they should only ever be timed exclusive and even then only by a month or 2. And that goes for zenimax as well.

Reading these comments I feel there is some slight confusion over exactly what tiny tinas wonderland is, and more importantly a misunderstanding of the scope of the title.

I played through the first one several times, then really really enjoyed my play through of the second.
The third one felt like a relic of the past to me. Playing it coop it was hard to see through the on screen carnage to understand exactly what was going on. Constantly looking through menus to work out which new weapon with very slight upgrades over the last was the one worth using. Constant backwards and forwards fetch quests and endless mindless shootouts.

I’d say it’s a sentiment shared by 90% of the gaming community. Epic fails, questionable design and general business decisions and departures of key staff. It’s foolish for any of us to not consider BioWares future as “in the balance” at the very very least.

I was way more excited about this game early doors, but the more I see of it the less excited I am. The world looks so bland and empty, and the magic attacks/combat look really bland and generally uninspired in my opinion. I didn’t really have a big proper RPG in 2021 so I’d love to be wrong and for me to really like this game but I think it’s looking increasingly unlikely.
