Personally I think it looks very bland and maybe even boring.
The combat and the world/environment in particular strike me as extra boring. Looks vast but vacuous, huge pretty open world with nothing but boring spongey enemies in.
The traversal is the only thing I like the look of, zipping around looks like something I’d enjoy.
The idea of changing your finger nail finishes for different buffs sounds so stupid to me though, don’t know...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending this at all but for me personally I don’t care how much people have to pay to get gear as long as I can play through the game normally and unlock new gear at the usual pace without throwing money at it.
It’s a new fully featured Diablo game for free. If other people want to pay for my free game by buying loads of crap that I’ll get for free by just playing the game then I’m all for it

I reckon I might get my psvr boxed up and sold now to contribute towards psvr2. I was honestly shocked to see how good the gameplay for this looked.
Really enjoyed my psvr but after having only ever played vr on the ps4 pro I was amazed when I finally played the half life car game on a high end pc. It was mind glowingly good.
I think psvr2 is going to be capable of similar if not better experiences. Very exciting.

I totally agree, if you’re going through areas quickly and not exploring (which is totally a legit play style) the game might put level you a bit. And to be fair I did 100% have a few spots I’d go a grind a couple of levels if I found I was struggling on a boss. But the game is so big that there’s rarely not a new direction for you to go in and play through, it just might not be there area you find yourself in, banging your head against a brick wall. There’s one or two in the whole game, that big sword spell nails them super easily. That’s why I love this game, to every impossible situation there is almost always the perfect tool. And this game give you a huge tool bag to consider
Melania had me stumped for hours and hours. I had a sorcery build and just kept on making small changes to me loadout- summons/talismans/spells, bit by bit I found something that worked until finally I cracked her.

Isn’t it so funny how something can be so divisive. I do know what you mean. But I felt the exploration and slowly levelling up and overcoming what initially felt like overwhelming odds so rewarding. It genuinely becomes super easy because of how much you can grind and become a monster.

Stick with it. It’s so obtuse and feels like it goes out the way to make it’s systems hard to understand and feel overwhelming. But when you crack it and know what your doing it feels all the more rewarding for it

I did the whole thing solo, the Elden beast was really easy the first 2 times and then that third time was waaaaaay tougher. But still nowhere near Melania levels. She brutalised me for hours and when I finally beat her it felt like nothing but luck
