The new Zelda is every bit as good as people say. I’m going to say something renegade here… banjo kazoie nuts and bolts is one of my favourite games, the building mechanic in TotK reminds me of is so bad. Love solving puzzles that way

Never has the underlying disdain for Xbox here on n4g been more apparent. I think objectively this show was great, subjectively I can go all in and say show of the year. Game after game that was exciting, lots of announcements, it was by no means perfect but was very good.
The first trailer that came out all those years ago, when the camera shifts to first person in that cave, I really thought the graphics would be more comparable to that in the final game. Probably very silly of me for sure. I’m still looking forwards to learning more. My concern isn’t that it may just be obsidians version of elder scrolls, that would be great! My concern is they take that idea and stick it in an outer worlds format. That I wouldn’t like

Just control and manage your expectations. Every year my wife laughs at me so much for my unbridled optimism. There’s been so many “This is the year” and “They have to bring it this time”’s bandied around over the last decade it’s silly. But then always the same sad story post show.

People are declaring DOA status because although no one knows its price I think it’s a safe bet that it’ll cost £199 at least, and it’s unlikely to be that cheap. And there already exists a free solution that almost everyone has, that being remote play and a phone/laptop/tablet with a dual shock/dual sense controller.
So the question remains… why would anyone buy this?

Goodness me, up until now I hadn’t but I’m beginning to think I missed a trick by not playing factions. Was it that good? Why was it good? I’ve always been put off multiplayer games as soon as it’s 3rd person, and the fact I perceived at nothing more than a tacked on multiplayer element means i apparently missed out big time
