But, yes, it's definitely a win for PC gaming and perhaps, to a lesser extent, gaming in general.
From what I've read, the reviews are glowing. I've been reading quite a few "best fighter of the generation" quotes from a gameplay and presentation angle. They just say it's light on SP content at launch. From the few "mediocre" reviews I've read, most of them figure it'll deserve a 10/10 in retrospect when the extra content is released...

Difference between Ninty and Xbox in this regard is that Ninty has iconic characters that people are invested in. Master Chief is the only character that comes close and let's face it, he's not exactly Mr. Personality.
I'd say it would be smart to follow Nintendo's model IF Xbox had the IPs and iconic characters to make it work. They just don't...

I'd say definitely THE best.
It ranks in my top 5 Final Fantasy games overall quite easily.
If it's in my top 5 overall, you better believe it is by far the best FF spinoff IMO...
