Those are ridiculous comparisons. These are giant VG mega-companies not small studios that needed the extra resources and backing (not to mention they were already making PS exclusives before being bought).

Yeah, but it would benefit absolutely NO gamers. Xbox gamers would already be getting any games from all of these companies and the others would lose them.
Do gamers (not fan boy idiots) a solid MS - invest that money in new studios and games. It may take longer to pay off but at least it isn't just consolidation and depriving other groups of gamers of existing ips.

No-one is saying any differently about MP games. But why don't you go on and state the obvious anyway...
That being said, only about 1 in 50 (just throwing out guesstimates here) multiplayer games reach numbers even close to PUBG/Overwatch/etc., and when a MP game doesn't have players it might as well not exist. So from a business perspective, a multiplayer game can be a real risk.

I just got the platinum a few days ago and already I'm missing it, so I may just have to boot up the Ultra Hard New Game Plus while I wait for this DLC.
I figure Sam's role is overlooked somewhat these days because the films didn't quite capture his contributions like the book. From Shelob and rescuing Frodo in the tower to carrying him up the mountain, the film just doesn't quite give it the impact and emphasis that it has in the book.
I wouldn't call selling 918 more consoles in the month "smashing" the competition myself (especially since the Switch is a newly released console). It's more accurate to call it a virtual tie rather than a "smashing".
Good numbers all around other than Xbox, though...

It's funny. I've never golfed in my life and these games are always a must buy for me. There's no better game to play with buddies on a couch IMO.
Should have kept the Hot Shots title though...
