the game i personally want most from 360 on ps3 is definitely Mass Effect.. i don't care for Halo or Gears, i want a SERIOUS scifi/space adventure on ps3, cos there really isn't one!
well there is Dead Space but that's more on the horror side. great game btw, playing it now because everyone has been raving about it. i'm glad i listened to fellow gamers on this one! (not that the reviews were bad)

GTAIV is an open world game.. it can't look as good as Uncharted (if you mean texture quality, and not for example draw distance which is massive in GTAIV...). no open world game will look like Uncharted this gen, so prepare to be disappointed many more times.

GTAIV was about realism, like it or not. you don't see tanks rolling around in New York that often.

ahh, Spielberg is the key! to convincing my dad that videogames dont suck. because Schindler's List is his favorite movie. so next time my dad says playing games is "childish" and that he doesnt "get it", i can tell him his favorite director who he worships plays COD4 like me :)

thankfully the ads are in Home, and not cluttering the XMB. i would be shocked if i ever saw an ad on my XMB..
but i wonder how this will take off, i don't really care about Red Bull but what kind of things EA for example has in store for us? i want some Skate 2 integration with Home! if there's some incredibly hard trophy in Skate 2, i wanna earn it and put it on display on my virtual fireplace! :)
i loved how some character yelled "i dont wanna die!" in the heat of battle, for some reason you dont hear that often in games. you know, at least some expression of insecurity and hopelessness instead of all-out machismo.. i want to see more of that, i want to see soldiers completely flipping out and crying for their momma.
i don't understand how the game runs so smooth! what kind of black magic did GG use on the framerate exactly?
yeah seriously, i read a not-so-glowing preview from the biggest Nordic gaming mag Game Reactor, and they mentioned Gears of War seven times and Halo four times... i mean come on, is that REALLY necessary? plus they pretty much crush the game, saying it's impossible to aim ("you will end up shooting at walls mostly"), and that animations are "questionable" (BIG WTF)... they do admit it "can look pretty good".

i don't get it, it would be so easy for Sony to advertise PS3 as a games console too. i mean, there are more than a few games they could show in their ads... just put a some MGS4, LBP, Wipeout HD and maybe Resistance 2 footage in there and see what happens.
