i'm the biggest ps3 fan i know, and i love GTAIV. i rather play it on a quiet and reliable system, because it's so good. and i love all the little touches in the audio design i wouldnt even hear if i was playing it on a noisy system.
i am so disinterested in Wii Play that i dont even know what it is really. a collection of a few minigames?

i guess i'm in the minority but i really enjoy a game like GTAIV over Saint's Row 2. because deep down i dont really care about shooting poo on people, or customizing a virtual car, etc... i prefer an immersive, detailed, realistic game world, and a decent story (does SR2 even have a story??) INFINITELY more than that. maybe because i'm too old :/ i want ATMOSPHERE in games. something that takes your breath away. something like SotC, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3... and yes i just compared GTAI...
just make your own Alien/Giger themes. why pay for "premium" themes?!

Gamestop really are the worst thing ever... i'm so bummed their greedy asses invaded our little country (Finland) too, literally forcing traditional smaller gameshops out of business, already happened to a couple of my favorite little shops :( just makes me sad to see them give up against this foreign giant.

i for one want to see some NORMAL looking people in games more. i hope Heavy Rain delivers on that.. because for me many games are ruined by annoyingly perfect looking male/female characters, it just gets so ridiculous sometimes it's impossible to ignore (im looking at you RE5). they take away some of the realism IMO. now i'm not asking for intentionally hideous characters, but just a little more restraint and good taste, please.

Killzone 2 has proven itself pretty much by now, at least when it comes to graphics.. and no matter what you say, graphics DO mean a lot to most gamers (just look at what GeOW did to the 360). there's NO WAY anyone could say it looks like crap without getting completely ridiculed, and rightly so.
and in general, when people hate something that is popular or getting a lot of attention, it is mostly just a defensive reaction due to jealousy, or for fear of being left out... i would...
i'm playing Level 5's Dragon Quest VIII at the moment and it's a really good game, very enjoyable. i'm hoping WKC will be as good! and with online play and trophies, it should have plenty of gameplay worth 60-70 euros. dont really care about the graphics, as long as it looks decent and not rushed. anyone know if it really is 1080p though, like rumored some months ago? that alone would give it a superbly sharp look... even if other aspects werent that amazing.

example: i won a user-made object of Mr. Hankey (the poo character from South Park) to use in level creation, and it reminded me of the show, and made me want to watch an episode or two!
