Thanks for the info Braid! I'm afraid my clunker isn't up to that standard then.
Interesting, I wonder what he means by standard PCs though.
Hey guys, I wrote that. I can't thank you enough for posting it, Lalanana! Appreciate all the feedback. Sorry if the wording isn't quite accurate, but really, I wanted to draw attention of this to Sony so that they could clear the air.
We've been hearing stories of PS4 having problems for a while now, and Yoshida was quick to address some earlier concerns but not this one. And I do bring up that this is just a demo, but that won't dispel everyone's concern...
Raise your hands if you remember people on this thread bragging about Ryse being 1080p and having to take it all back a day later
At least PC is still an option. Heck, Mac is.
This isn't really news. Nintendo's indie contact Dan Adelman has been doing this for developers for months, and they announced it ages ago. This is an unfortunate case of gaming sites failing to pick up on a story properly.
I see the level of discourse between Sony and Microsoft fans hasn't improved.
It seems the real story here is which gaming sites got suckered into covering that. Get out your Notepads!
Oh my God you're absolutely right.
I don't think any solutions for the Wii U will involve replacing Iwata or making a more powerful console.
Let's be honest: we have no real idea how this news affects our games. LOL
It's heavily implied the move will make it easier to release more games internationally, but we're just basing all that on David's two tweets.
I guess most of these are actually workable, now we just have to see Double Helix deliver.
If there's any argument for ending region locking this is it.
All these statements are hinting deeply that when the AAAs drop support on the Wii U, indies will pick up the slack. It's a potential win for indies and Nintendo.
My bad :| Dgander was right, I meant to say buildings and not studios hehe. Nintendo seems to be fluid when it comes to studios, considering Project SORA was built and subsequently closed on the fly just to make one game. Number of employees would be a better indicator of the company's health, although AFAIK that's not public info.
A lot of talk considering it didn't really raise as much money as Double Fine. I came in here expecting a more spectacular story but was disappointed.
Good to see it gets another batch of good games. I think it still needs work in regards to those pricey memory cards though. That aspect of the Vita is a swindle, and considering Sony hasn't officially dropped the price of the console anywhere but Japan, the whole thing still costs too much for what it is.
I don't want to be hating on the console, but you current Vita owners need to campaign to Sony to end it with the overpricing so that there'll be more of you ou...
No, I think what Nintendo (not Nintendo Life, basing this on NoA and Iwata's statements) says, removing region locking would be problematic when it comes to complying with global ratings systems.
First off, Nintendo is in a unique position different from Sony, Microsoft, Steam, etc. Sony and Microsoft like to say they have games for kids, but realistically, families and kids buy Nintendo products. Nintendo in turn has to take the trouble their competitors don't to kee...
As much as I'm a fan of many of the games named here, and much more, I've been thinking that rather than revive another old franchise, fighting games need a complete break and a fresh start. Gamers have changed and so many of them can't deal with the steep learning curve these older games have. What the genre needs is a true beginner's fighting game, one that will extend its appeal to even beyond the average gamer. Smash Bros. is the closest we have to something like that now,...
It's not. I'm seeing people confirming they got these games at Walmart. Here's one: https://twitter.com/Geen82/...
