This lack of confidence in Itagaki's ability to deliver graphics wise is so confusing to me. Weren't his Ninja Gaiden and DOA games the shit? Suddenly you think he's someone who downgrades?
If Itagaki is teasing Devil's Third for E3, it probably means he's ready to show off the game's improved graphics.
I think the DOA 5 that we got now received mixed results. Yes, by deemphasizing the rock - paper- scissors system that Itagaki created, the game was better for competition. I also agree that the switch to a more realistic style was a good one, and having the fighters from Virtua Fighter guest was a brilliant touch.
On the other hand, the game became derivative, and too similar to competing products, for this very reason. Now it looks a lot like Tekken, but Tekken will outdo i...
We don't know if Kokoro would become the villain. The ninjas might just as likely have a falling out over playing the heros and villains here (like, why would Ayane kill Kokoro's mother?).
I think it would have been interesting to see that drama play out, but what we got is a safer, more feel good story.
Think about what happened to Itagaki the next time news on Hideo Kojima comes up.
Jeff's still tweeting about this. Apparently Atari didn't even renew their trademark for Tempest 2000. They're C&Ding him for a game he made, and they don't even have the trademark for. Complete scumbags.
The Order 1886 has the best graphics. *winks*
It's funny that you say that, cuz there's a lot more to it than Slenderman. There are different creatures that Ara faces, and the story behind it is closer to something like a Silent Hill or Phantasmagoria. Leaning more on Phantasmagoria.
This is a ridiculous theory. Clearly, delaying games leads to potential lost revenue, and increasing risks, as the longer games are developed the more the bill goes up. This is why it's prudent to cancel some games even if they're well into development.
Every delayed game that ended up selling well was lucky to have gotten the better end out of that deal.
Isn't this breaking N4G's new rules about Gamergate?
Doesn't this violate N4G's policy on articles about Gamergate?
I think the question on everyone's minds is if Harada will listen to fans and bring it to PC, cuz right now it doesn't look like he will.
It probably won't have the same name, but we'll see. If it isn't true Hennig and EA ought to nip this rumor in the bud quickly though
For better or worse, the game continues to be an annual title, with the same developers starting from scratch year after year. A COD model might work better but that doesn't look like how 2K Games is approaching this.
LOL Occam's razor in plain English is saying the simplest explanation is the correct one.
I'm saying the obvious thing to believe is that Nintendo screwed up distributing amiibos, but it turns out the shortages are due to something out of their control.
Of course the Occam's razor argument everyone will make is that Nintendo didn't know what they were doing, so here's proof those people making that argument were dead wrong.
Well that's a nice shortcut.
I hear you guys on EA and DLC, but I'm also curious about possible Force Awakens spoilers. You know someone out there is good enough to breeze through the game and will share the ending not too soon after it gets released.
The main thing is game companies actually use review scores to determine if devs will be paid, and even if they will stay hired. This move has an undebatable upside.
I hope so, of course we're waiting for Microsoft to clarify. If you find somewhere that Phil Spencer or Aaron Greenberg or Satya Nadella has said no, please message me!
