More like people realised Battlefront in general (including the old games) are actually mediocre games. The lack of content simply left you focusing on what you're really playing rather than being distracted by all the Star Wars themed assets. It's fine to enjoy the content for what it is, there's nothing wrong with enjoying a lesser game, but the way people expected this to be good to begin with need a reality check.
LOL no horror in Doom? You people need to replay it because there were plenty of scenes that were slow burning and full of tension, either from noises coming behind walls that would sudden drop down with hordes to kill in pitch black darkness or those invisible Pinkys that roamed around whilst you were navigating through a literal labyrinth.
The game may not be to standard today, but for the audience with more imagination 20 years ago this was definitely a horror game.
Don't bother You can never convince these people because they've been ingrained by the marketing that OLED is better or newer than LCD therefore all OLED (no matter the type, the generation and implementation) are all exactly the same (superior), despite the hypocritical infatuation of comparing LCD based on the specs.
In reality the original Vita OLED isn't as great as it is on paper, it's a generation 1 Samsung AMOLED panel, which means it has those weird ...
All these disgruntled comments about Destiny here and I can bet we will all make the exact same mistake by buying The Division. That is why these games will always be made.
If Ubisoft was truly concerned about their IP and not for any ulterior motives of trying to block a competitor, then why have they not done anything against City Interactive's Sniper: 'Ghost' Warrior for the last 3 games.
Shitty corporate dog move I say.
It was a great choice compared to the David Bowie original. A much more sinister interpretation of the lyrics that fits the game better.
$1500 maybe too much, but it will definitely be very expensive. Had an investors meeting today and I could tell straight away the hardware is extremely packed. The tracking is far superior to the competitors however I think their greatest hurdle will be setting up the laser sensors because no one these days will be willing to prop up two of these things that require two separate power points.
The author of the article is like one of those weirdos you meet every now and then at parties who tell you they don't like Chocolate or Italian food (not because of dietary requirements).
Haha only Sony can bring out the arm chair critiques. First only Sony can bring the debate of game protagonists being 'mass murderers', and now suddenly everyone cares about the state of the law and trademarks.
Yeah never mind, Notch tried to trademark 'scrolls' a while back, the cool kid underdogs are doing it for the community, but large companies: OMG they're trying to undermine freedom of expression.
That's not where it ends, it's like $130USD to ship overseas. The last time I got a courier to ship my 5kg laptop package it was $80USD, I'm not sure where they got the extra $50 from, because they already charge tax on checkout separately.
LOL it's just a random catalog not some official banner.
The source tweet is just sarcastic.
No it hasn't priced itself out of the market, it's exactly where it was always going to be. What has happened is a natural market backlash against all the good will built up in the 3 years. 3 years of BS, price baiting, playing the 'cool guy' underdog and the convenient confusion story that the dev kit price = final ballpark figure.
It was a marketing blunder and everyone who was taken for a ride are 'priced out', those left were going to buy it regard...
Prototype after prototype that have been funded and purchased by said "people and developers".
I'm not sure what we're getting what we paid for.
Not just the tweets, he shouldn't be allowed to open his mouth on stage.
And when the dust has settled, you know HTC Vive is in for a huge embarrassment with the price. There's no way that thing is going to be even close to $599USD.
I played a full body tracking zombie shooter with DK1, and even with the horrible resolution and lame graphics I didn't give two craps about the presentation. When you're in the game the experience already stands up.
Amazing game, every odd year when a Falcom game releases it reminds you how masterful they are at old school RPG formulas.
It's a shame the localized version doesn't include Japanese voices, with the only way is to rely on pirate methods to mod the game.
Says you get the new PS4 Valkyria game demo code with this remaster.
Haha so many VR skeptics, ask them have they tried it and you can bet your money they will reply no.
VR isn't "too expensive", it's just priced out for budget users. But the bright side is that the prices will only go down once everything is settled.
However the anger or price shock is well warranted because Oculus created a toxic illusion that VR was going to be cheap. They took advantage of the confusion on the dev kit prices and continued to push higher end hardware way beyond the build price of the dev kit.
