Sony uses a 1080p OLED screen with RGB matrix where as the Oculus uses a 2K OLED panel from the Samsung Note4 which is a pentile display. Pentile displays are half the sharpness of a display with RGB that's why most word of mouth says the PSVR isn't bad compared to the Oculus despite being half the resolution.
They rank brand by the asset of the brands 'worth' and recognition in the market, not the value of the company as a whole. If they were to rank companies by what you say Exxon Mobil would be towering above almost every company yet if you asked someone random on street what the company did, they'd probably pause and maybe take a guess they sell petrol at best.
Why are we talking about 'racing games' as if it's one big glop of a genre?
Twitch etc is just the new form of adult webcam service, once the money starts pouring in it's only natural these things happen.
They label it as *spoilers* and then put a large thumbnail of the spoiler itself LOL
More diversity in games the better. Until Dawn is a fine example of that.
Making games that serve the crowd, nothing wrong with that.
Even though I have 3 years worth of prepaid codes on PS+, I've stopped subscribing. That's how bad the line-up has become.
Purchased mine solely for Muramasa Rebirth on the big screen, worth it.
No one's going to care about resolution, it's all about compelling software, cost of entry and ease of use. I've just played a VR game using in a $400k facility with body tracking and that was only using the Oculus DK1, the very last thing I cared about was the resolution especially when body presence was convincing and the game reasonably engaging.
Better graphics and no bullet sponge enemies that can magically side step. Easily better than the first.
Meh, i'm not going to price beg and let a few hundred dollars stop me. What's more important is if they can convince me the content is worth the money, if it's great then spending more on it is an easy decision.
Siren runs like crap on PC emulation, you have to dial down to software 3D rendering or frames rates drop down to 5-10. Try to scale the resolution above native and you have permanent screen stretch marks. Other levels won't even show you mission critical textures/videos like key pad combinations so you can't finish the game.
The music is top notch in the first game, I have expectations with the sequel.
The fact you're talking about a game that still hasn't made the leap into current gen is enough to say it's very much relevant.
"Now, it's time for Nintendo to choose a side."
They already have: Amiibo. Merely going back to it's roots as a toy company first.
Best 'character' game this generation IMO.
This is 2015, not the 80's. Mascots have been replaced by slick logos and superliminal ads.
Resident Evil 5 was smashed for selling a $2 100kb DLC to unlock on disc content. Throw a toy in behind the sane concept and suddenly it's ok.
Nah a bit different, this is a PC exclusive and to a higher degree a MMO. PC + MMO invented DLC/microtransactions, it's a crowd that's well used to supporting it.
