The PSP was released 9 years after PS1. The PSP isn't more powerful than PS2 by looking at P3, because the P3 port basically removed all the 3D free roam and ran at a lower resolution.
I would not be surprised if the industry around SP portions of games starts to take a more backseat compared to multiplayer (already happening). Ubisoft has already proven to investors that 'games as a service', a synonym for multiplayer is high profitable. And you look at Overwatch eclipsing other games in sales with it's minimal low brow content, why wouldn't you want a slice of that pie.
Mate your account was made 24mins ago, nice sock puppeting
4gb is fine, it's going to be a 720p low powered device anyway.
Really want a 3rd game, some of the best fun I've had with friends. It's a shame Valve has to blunder everything they touch.
It is an indie game in the end. You have only yourself to blame for expecting something else.
Well if you look at the thumbnail pic, the headset isn't even turned on. There's the problem lol
The haters are having a real identity crisis with this game, they were happy with their confirmation bias after the last few 'tech demos'. But the last string of near final previews being very positive is making them look stupid now.
The first chance was when Nintendo was still scratching their heads with the $249 3DS launch price and the Vita beating them with first week sales along with a stellar launch line up of Uncharted, Wipeout, Gravity Daze and Everybody's golf.
"Nintendo tried to bring it to the mainstream with the Virtual Boy in 1995."
Despite their intentions, Nintendo's Virtual boy was no more VR than Sony's 1996 Glass tron. Neither had any motion controls or interactions.
Sounds like the game was so realistic and immersive, driving at 300km/h made him puke. 10/10 from me.
Piracy isn't the reason why devs hold back from PC (it is a factor), the actual reason is the PC platform demographics has learnt to price down all games. Easy access to grey market keys, a culture of heavy discounts and competition among digital platforms for the very same game are factors that don't add up well when you also consider the high cost of testing and patching the game for non-value adding reasons (such as to satisfy a small percentage of certain graphic card users). High...
HTC Vive is definitely the dominant between the two PC headsets, but as long as it still requires 3 power point adapters they've got a long way to go before they can appeal to the mainstream.
Why even bother with speculation on reasons when the reason is right there: Sony haven't released a dedicated 4K disc player.
There is no reason why Playstation should damage the brand of Sony Electronics, by undercutting themselves by price. When the Sony Electronics division release their reference and ratify properly Dolby Vision, then Playstation has room to move. All blu-ray players are not made equally they are different in playback quality despite what people thi...
They can be if they just stop screwing people or screwing themselves.
They did a good job on headlight rendering.
Critics and haters were hung up way too much on the 'stealth' sections of Lord of Shadows 2, I had a preconception before playing the game that it was going to be horrendous so I was constantly guessing where it was in the game. After playing through 80% of it I finally Youtube'd it because I didn't notice anything wrong, and really once I knew what IGN et al were talking about it's a real shame.
Really wasn't fair Mercury Steam got bashed for things...
It's polygon, even if they were playing a mobile endless runner game, they will find a way to run backwards.
Many people are confused why there is no UHD drive and it's pretty simple if you stop looking at Sony as just Playstation and look at it as an electronics conglomerate.
They have yet to release a standalone UHD player and have not fully adopted things like Dolby ATMOS nor VISION. It makes little sense for them to launch the product on Playstation first. A standalone player is not due until 2017 at the minimum and they are more interest in looking into HDR.

GT has stopped appealing as a 'game' a long time ago, it's now aiming to be competitive. A far greater evolution.
