Really? It's not that serious...
Cross game chat would be great and all but I am seriously getting tired of all the whining about it. I honestly believe that if it were that simple, Sony would have already added it a long time ago just because so many people have been crying about it for so long.
Netflix still works for me. I just have to try twice to connect and just hit circle after it starts up.
I do not believe that I am overreacting. There are other services that I cannot access...mainly my online backup storage. While this might not seem like much, it has been a few days, not hours. I am not looking for monetary compensation. That would be ridiculous and petty. What I am looking for is rebuilding confidence in their service and product with a good faith donation of a DLC of some sort that wasn't planned or a few days added on the tail end of people's PS+ subscriptions...
I'll tell you one thing. I don't really care who's fault it was, all I know is that I can't play my brand new games online (Mortal Kombat, SOCOM 4, Portal 2) and I also have a subscription to PS+. I will be looking to hear something about a credit to my account for PS+ or some insane free DLC. If not, they can certainly expect a phone call from me. Their security problem are irrelevant to me as a consumer when it comes to money I've spent for a subscription service.
Yeah, I'm sure that everyone in the class bought a copy of Portal 2. I don't give a damn if I'm the only person that came. I paid to be taught, so bring your ass to class and teach!
I have had professors "cancel" class to go on vacations. He said, "There is still class but nobody's coming".
For Christ's sake, can we please stop attacking Killzone 3 for just one day? Halo Reach didn't get half this much attention. I don't even think that Gears of War 3 will get this much negative publicity...
There are plenty of JRPG's on the PS3. A lot of them are NIS games like Hyperdimension Neptunia, Trinity Universe, Disgaea 3, etc. There are also games like Valkyria Chronicles, White Knight Chronicles, and others..
What article?! It was a video with a few comments! It doesn't matter anyway. I have better things to do than argue with anyone on this site. Bottom line is that the video was obvious trolling by an Xbox fanboy trying to downplay any type of success from a PS3 title. We can expect equally stupid videos for every major release this year INCLUDING Gears of War 3.
This article is a epic fail. The Gamestop I went to tonight was pretty packed.
Yes, EBGames was bought out by Gamestop a long time ago. Gamestop also owns Babbages (which I've seen for the first time in like 10 years in SC).
Those were some good choices but wow there were tons of spoilers. If you haven't beaten every good game this year, do not read this article...
Is this what qualifies as news now?
I agree with Trizard about the typo, though I understand it was a typo though so it's really not that big of a deal. no need to split hairs. We get the gist of what you're saying...
@AwesomeJizz
I don't understand how this has anything to do with anyone being a PS3 fanboy. They are both PS3 exclusive games. They obviously just made a mistake. A better question is if his statement was true or not. The answer to that is yes. And finally, he apologized for his mistake before you even had a chance to criticize him for his comment.
I really don't even understand all this fanboy nonsense anyway. Last gen, all of these die hard ...
The DLC does not go when your subscription runs out. Only full games do. They tell you this whe you download it in the beginning.
Did you even read the article? Anything you pay for, you keep and do not have to pay any difference. The only thing you can't keep is full games that are free downloads with the subscription service.
I agree completely that this list is missing Jak. That was one awesome trilogy. Also, Metal Gear Solid would be an awesome collection to get the HD treatment. Viewtiful Joe? You could HD parts 1 and 2 and throw in Red Hot Rumble. And then we could have a Resident Evil Collection.
@Istanbull
I agree about people leaving the single player experience but let's not discount the fact that people have been playing multiplayer games heavily since Street Fighter II and 007 Goldeneye. The problem is that most games nowadays do not have multiplayer on the same system anymore and that requires you to have PSN to play with a friend.
