Wow, I have no doubts that there will be a day one patch. Why are people still concerned about patching the beta problems though? Makes no sense to me. That's the whole purpose of a beta...
I thought the game was actually kinda easy until I was forced to race...
@akiraburn
While I certainly agree about the HD collections that came out before new games being announced, there is still the chance that there won't be. There is a Splinter Cell Collection with no new games on the horizon. Also, the Prince of Persia Collection came out well after the last game with no new games being announced. It seems that collections come out when there were two or three great series regardless of a new game coming out or not.
But...
Are people forgetting the steps forward that Sony already made? Did people honestly forget that the PS Store used to be a webpage? Did they forget that there was no in-game XMB? Netflix used to require a disc to play? There was only a Sixaxis and not a Dual Shock 3? There were no trophies? They had video chat BEFORE PS Move & Kinect? People really need to cut them some slack. They do listen. Usually, if they haven't done something (especially something so highly requested) it...
As much as I hate to say it, PSN sales are low because of game sharing, not lower quality or anything like it. Instead of 5 people buying the same title on XBL, one person will buy one on PSN and share it with 4 friends while they split the cost.
Damn, I bought it at full price. I coulda got a falcon...

JTAG: Joint Test Action Group. It's entirely too much to explain here but you can find an explanation here:

I honestly can't see how that could go against Sony. I can't think of any games that the servers are shut down on PS3 that aren't multiplatform games shut down on both. There may be some, but I have no idea which ones they may be. Hell, to my knowledge, I believe you can actually still play some PS2 games online depending on the game.
@powerofcell
Speak for yourself. I play my PS3 very often but they are shutting servers down for both systems. And to say most of us don't play online? Why in the world do you think the gaming world was in such an outrage when the PSN went down?! In the future, keep your trolling, fanboy comments to yourself instead of coming on N4G sounding like an idiot.
And before you go calling me a fanboy, look at my previous comments on previous threads and you&...
@fluffydelusions
Yes, I can. I paid for it, right? These games aren't even really that old.
S/N
This just proves that Xbox Live is truly a ripoff. This is not a fanboy rant. Most of my games are on Xbox 360. I just don't really see the point of paying just to play online. A lot of people think that they are paying Microsoft to maintain servers but this just proves that they do not.
@SilentNegotiator,
No. it doesn't. Only people that really remember Duke Nukem know that it was never meant to be taken seriously. The game is a parody of other games, mainly FPS's. There was never really a "good" Duke Nukem, but they have all been funny and at times fun.
@darkpower
People obviously disagree with your comment about DNF deserving a 0.
If the PS3 isn't more powerful, why can't Gears of War display more than 8 characters on screen at a time? Apparently, Gears sets the bar but isn't even that great. The PS3's level of detail is unparalleled. Look at Drake in Uncharted (either one). Every time he takes cover, he is in a slightly different position. Look at Resistance. You can kill a Chimera by shooting each independent tube they use for breathing. Look at Heavenly Sword. It has almost every language on ...
Used Wii's are $100 at Gamestop right now...
ClaveroRulz,
I'm just curious...what exactly do you know about security? One thing you should know is that it is just as easy to steal 100 million as it is to steal 5 as long as they don't find out you are stealing it immediately.
What's so funny is that Sony doesn't technically owe anybody anything. They are giving away two free games (two of which are disc based games), and a free month of PS+ and Qriocity to people that aren't paying for anything in the beginning. What else do people think they are entitled to? What company has done better than this to reimburse people that actually PAY for services?
I agree. As soon as their names are identified, I am scribbling their names in my Death Note...
DDoS is an attack no matter how you look at it. From a network security standpoint, it iis clearly defined as an attack, not hacking, but undoubtedly an attack.
So...I don't quite get the Stan reference...
