Where is US Congress now? Oh right, in MS's pocket.
I didn't buy it because it's just another shooter. I preferred ICO collection which is one of its kind. Multiplayer beta was a huge disappointment and singleplayer demo was quite ok but subHD graphics is not what I expect from a PS3 exclusive.
The game is said to provide at least 400 hours of unlocks and progress. If that's not enough for anybody, you can buy another copy after that year or so. It'll be cheap then.
This doesn't concern me though, I'll play on PS3 and I still play BFBC2 with my soldier that I maxed out a year ago.
"DUES EX sales team flooding MetaCritic with false copy paste 10/10 reviews to bring its score up to promote sales."
This is sad as this game is worth every penny I invested in it. One of the best this year.
No, my friend. YOU should realise it works both ways. And that being too serious about electronic toys means YOU should grow up.

Dear PS3 owners! Let xboxers have their moment of joy and shout TEH FORZA! as if anybody cared about their opinions. They're getting just one more old game remake and then possibly the same game iteration next year. And that's all folks. No more Xbox AAA exclusives this generation. When PS3 users will play Last Guardian that you can't compare to anything Xbox because there aren't such unique games for the system. When we play Uncharted, Ni No Kun...
That's why Sony designed PS3 as a console with standard HDD. That's why we have game installs. Some people don't understand technological trade offs and then complain that their hardware was too expensive. Optical disc technology is good for films because you get a constant stream of data. HDD is good for games because you need different chunks of data now and then.
100 MB update with no features? I smell foul air.
He missed "f" at the beginning...
Part of the Sony philosophy is to guarantee their loyal customers that what they get on Sony platforms, stays there and you can't get in anywhere else. I've heard this statement repeated throughout many interviews with Mr Tretton and other Sony executives and I understand that strategy.
Also, why port to PC if that requires extra spendings and doesn't guarantee revenue? And I'm not only talking about money. Sony is known for long-term investing. Even if PS3 is...
Funny that he bashes DE:HR with MGS story when I see DE:HR paying a lot of homage to MGS, especially with the style of the endings (which I enjoyed much, though I consider MGS narrative still better).
Give us Arica so we can bring the pain there again.

"Games no matter what system they are developed for, are made on PC, so developing a PS3/PC is not really too far of a stretch"
No, it's not. You have no clue about technical stuff. Or maybe you want those ports to run 3-5 FPS on your Nvidia/ATI card with artifacts and glitches? Even X360 to PC ports are not a-few-clicks-straightforward. Think of many games ported this way, like GTA IV. You want Sony games, buy a Sony platform, it's so simple.
So the reports about EA passwords stolen are true. Sony is informing their customers while Microsoft deny the reality as always. I've completely lost my trust for Microsoft as far as security goes. Sadly I use Windows because I have to. But I'll look into other solutions ASAP.
I was marked a troll because I dare to have an opinion. Because I hate games "for everyone", that is for an average, casual Joe. Easy games with onscreen help telling you who to shoot, where to go, how to win. I can play Rage with one hand, eating dinner with the other. Where's the challenge? You can call me a troll if you like, gamer sheep. I spit in your general direction.
Fortunately I'm not everyone.
Why is it always US people who cry about small things? I don't mean any xenophobic attacks, just wondering - why?
Another COD, another banhammer. It's time to sell more consoles.
It doesn't matter how many players you have. It's all about size of maps and balancing. If done right, any even double-digit number is fine for a shooter. More is not always better. It can just generate chaos as metioned above.
You're absolutely right in what you're writing. However, why should I look at his game as a developer? I'm not one. I'm a customer and I should look at a potential purchase from the benefit point of view. If ID's game is less polished on PS3 and doesn't take advantage of the hardware AND they sell it for the same price as another platform, then the PS3 price isn't fair and I will not buy it. Nothing personal, no fanboy boycott stuff. It just doesn't meet my nee...
