1. Bash Sony

Loyalty is not for fanboys. When you're about to spend a considerable amount of money on a system and a bunch of games, you need to trust a brand to do that. Sadly you can't rely on any reviews today.
"XCOM is basically just a reboot of the game X-COM, it’s a strategic first person shooter. It will have an all new setting, but most of the concepts are the same as the original."
Kittens die in pain when people write such jibberish.

My thoughts exactly: fresh cannon fodder after Christmas!
Well said. My reasons are a bit different and most fun is taken away by bugs. But I sadly believe my almost 900 hours in BFBC2 won't happen again and BF3 can't even touch that.
Aside from bugs... Minimap in hardcore SqDM is the worst joke of all. Completely takes away fun and need for skill.
I see PC gaming is still mostly about MMOs.
Another great developer going from great narrative to boredom of free roam. Well, it sells...
@gamingdroid: maybe it just reflects the content of gaming each console has. When I hear from Microsoft these days, it's all about Kinect, Youtube, film rentals and other things which I have no interest in with my console. They abandoned core gamers so core gamers abandoned them, pretty simple.

X360 was cheaper than PS3 but it made me watch ads. What's more, it made me pay and still watch ads. I don't accept that.
I hate how those German sites lie to shove some ads in your face. Linking to them should be forbidden here.
Seems that cloning of KB still isn't perfected and produces some strange results.
You realize you're talking about a piece of paper? How is it any important?
The only thing I care about VGA is trailer reveals of future games. I don't even waste my time to watch the show.
Enjoyable read: both the blog entry and comments below. I think making people aware of the current state of affairs in the industry is very important. I have no idea how it's in US but here I resort to buying printed gaming magazines. Because you pay for them, they have to take care of quality. I read the net for gaming news but I don't personally believe any online reviews from sites which rely on ads counters.
People should learn that their personal opinion as revie...
Stolen artwork from both games. Somebody should suffer. Can you report iStore apps?
