Exclusive title also available on PC and Android phones. How stupid can you make yourself look, Microsoft liars?
I see his point. He learnt to lie very well because of Kinect.
This article does a good job of highlighting the advantages PC gaming can have, yet it says nothing about potential drawbacks such as: problems with drivers, DRM/copy protection technologies, incompatibilities (which lead to) terrible quality of many PC ports nowadays.
As far as calculations go, I see another mistake. If I buy a console game, I can sell it after playing (usually within a month or so) for about 75% of price. When I buy a PC game, I have no chance of selling it...
Concerning Auto...'s comment: you're right it's all tricks. However, if you really were into gamedev, you'd know it's the main goal of game makers to trick you. There are always shortages: of memory, of IO output, of processing power, of time before controller response, etc. ND are the masters of trickery and PS3 hardware. I've just watched the new cinematic trailer for UC3. It feels like an Indiana Jones film trailer and it shows everything the same way. You say "...
"Meanwhile over in Europe and America all 3 game consoles are doing extremely well and they all are winning."
That may be true for UK but not for all Europe.
I reckon nobody wants to play with him...
Nothing new. Microsoft's been following the same pattern for years.
No, they don't have to. They chose to. They wanted my money but failed to deliver. Sony studios don't fail to deliver so they get my money. If you can't do your job properly, change your job. That's very simple and fair.
THIS is what I mean gaming journalism. Brilliant, well written piece. No silly numeric scores, no moaning. Just personal impression of being in the game, feeling the game.
Thank you, author (if you ever read this). I'm all set to take my leap of faith with BF3.
Gamingbolt... and you know it all.
I thought they've already announced it in some interview.
So many people died and Fox News keeps silent?!
"Happy birthday, Alma"?
Funny thing but I had a lot of them on PC, too. I know, my GPU is old but anyway faster than the chip in PS3.
The person who wrote this piece never challenged a game. Maybe he just played them fast on easy to write about them. I bet if you looked at his PSN profile, there would be no or few platinums. This piece was written for clicks of trolls and shows the typical IGN quality, meaning none.
Liars. It can't even run 720p on consoles.
How many DVDs would that remake require? Part of the market isn't simply ready.
There is a game which spans our entire galaxy. You can land everywhere, explore and so on. It was created in 1993, an extraordinary achievement at that time. It is less than 1 megabyte in size. Its name - Frontier: Elite II.
I can say what I know: Rage has tight corridor levels and poor story performance.
It's also available on Xperia Play, a console with built-in GSM module. So that's still a lie.
