For me it's not a PC game. I played it first on Amiga. Then I played the sequel (Terror from the Deep) on PC and it wasn't that good. Missions with stages were too long and some weapons/aliens were exaggerated. The following ones were even worse. I hope they make this sequel right.
I loved the idea of Blaster Launcher. You knew that the square you aimed it at would be destroyed, no matter what it was: UFO wall, Muton, anything. Making holes in UFO hulls to breach them...
Actually the failure rate for the first version of 360 was over 50% in the first year and nearly 90% in two years. It means only 10% of launch consoles may still be functional. That compares to the cheapest junk electronics produced in China and sold under imaginary brand names.
I was quite surprised to see those numbers as the only MS hardware I had contact with before was their keyboards and mice which are quite good and reliable.
The only core experience here is Mass Effect 3. And it's not a game to play on Kinect, just will use its microphone. Of course Microsoft could allow voice commands over a headset they include with every X360 but I bet they won't. Why be nice to its customers when you can cash on them?
If it's good, I don't care how much it is on the noisybox. I don't keep junk at home.
Funny picture. Somebody has a complex. Probably got owned in some multiplayer game and cried a lot.
Original X-COM is one of 10 best games I've played so I'm jumping up with joy on this announcement!
There are plenty of PS3 ads here in Europe. Even some multiplatform titles are advertised just with PS3. On the other hand, the only X360 ads I've seen on TV were Kinect-related.
I'd like to have a feature like on XBL to measure time spent with my games. Some games have it built-in but not all. I think I spent about 2000 hours with it but that's a rough estimate.
I'm going to call IGN journalists idiots, imbeciles and morons. With the full implication of what it means. Why?
If Vita fails, it will be the last handheld core device ever created. Nobody will take the risk anymore. It means casual games for buttonless devices will be the only alternative for mobile gaming. It also means sites like IGN will have to reshape and strongly reduce their staff, financing and so on. Simply because casuals are not so much interested in reading...
Didn't it sell tons anyway? I'm far from happy about that but let's have facts straight.
I got it with Humble Bundle but didn't like it. I wouldn't pay for it alone.
Get over being screwed by a company? When they stop screwing me. Yes, I have an XBL account.
Also, I didn't mention anything PS related. If everything is "xbox vs ps shit" to you, look for some fanboy treatment.
To those people who say that it's OK that MS charges for online: don't you know that you've paid already three times for your service?
First time when you bought the system, second time when you buy any game with multiplayer, third time when your system displays adverts in the dashboard. The cost of server maintenance for multiplayer is INCLUDED in the price of the game. Microsoft doesn't charge for online play, they charge you for sending messages to your fri...
I got a quote from wiki about CNET:
"CNET got in trouble[clarification needed] in 2007 after it was revealed by former Gamespot editors that CNET corporate staff had directed the firing of a Gamespot editor. Furthermore, CNET was involved in altering the strict editorial policies that Gamespot and CNET reviewing staff once had. Indeed, CNET was considered complicit in its support of products regardless of their quality."
And more:

Great concept. I'd add...
Polish. It's games like Batman:AC when you enter the menu and see all's been thought of. Neat interface, useful information on the minimap, everything just seems to click and please you instead of annoy.
Actually they wouldn't. If you limit a game like UC to 9 GB of a DVD drive, it would become a short and bland thing while disc swapping would ruin the experience.
Drake jumps out of the ship... wait, disc change... and he lands in the sea. Naaaah.
Profit is not only money what many N4G users and American companies seem to forget. Brand trust is a valuable asset. If I see a console alive after 10 years, both in terms of available games and still working, reliable hardware, I'll choose that brand again.
I'm scared of mutinous figurines taking over the world now ;)
MS still can't convince me to spend 80 euros on a used X360 to play its exclusives... Oh wait, I shouldn't use plural, it's just one game (Halo 4) in a year's time from now. I can describe this offer with one word: pathetic.
English VO is toned down but not some other languages :)
Just one example: "Nate up your asses, you pricks!" (shouted when you throw a nate under heavy suppression)
