I can't for the life of me understand why xbox fanatics come to these posts to say how 'bad' installs are. If you don't own a PS3 then its not your problem.

I agree, this news submission should have never been approved in this manner. There is NO proof of lying what so ever.

BUT...

It is their job to make sure they know if the game comes with features or they risk misleading people. If you realized that they may have recieved a copy that might not have trophies then guess what? They should have too, it's their job. But, you or I have no idea why they made the mistake. Its a good theory, but you have no proof to basis...

A very stupid mistake non the less. IGN's writers seem to be more critical of PS3 games and make light of bad 360 games, Too Human comes to mind. I this particual instance I think it was a mistake though. If they don't make an effort to change and apologize for the mistake that would be a bit suspicious.

Honestly, It sucks that some game sites tend to favor one console over another, but I've already made my purchase, so they can be a Microsoft mouth piece all they like... it do...

Having everyone fight over a 'console war' not good enough? What ever happened to the shades of grey that life is really about? I'm not a hardcore gamer OR a casual gamer. I do not buy every hyped steroid infused shooter, nor do I only play casual games all day. I do visit game sites often, but I don't register to most and I don't throw down 6 bucks to buy a gaming mag either, yet I do read the latest issues at B&N.

There are FAR more people who are somewhere in the middle ...

The arcade comes with 256 aparently (doesn't really change much) but it still bares noting.

Call of Duty 4's campaign was very scripted. Which is strange because very little reviews mention how obvious the scripting is. It doesn't detract from the 'fun' of the campaign, but it is noticeable and at times annoying.

For example, there was a point in the game when I was in a fire-fight with what seemed to be an endless stream of enemies coming out of a small wooden building and suddenly I moved up a bit and then they stopped flooding out. Apparently I crossed some invisib...

This game could dethrone COD4 on my 'must play on-line" list, but right now COD4 is the only one on that list, haha. I heard the single-player campain kicks butt and I enjoyed the Xbox's 'FC: Insticts' and the original PC 'Far Cry' game.

... for PS3, Wii and 360 premium (or better) owners. If anyone dwells on how people can still defend Microsoft's business practices, it can be maddening. I, or anyone, can be better served by just enjoying what they bought.

Hey, Penny do me a favor give me a bubble and I'll do you a solid too :D

They would have to use their entire 128 MB memory card. The issue arises when that person(s) need to save or download anything else (ie Arcade Live games or game patches).

My friend bought the older 'core' SKU after purchasing a Wii and eventually bought a 128 MB card in order to save some games. When she got Burnout Paradise for her b-day (it was cheep) she couldn't play online. I've been pestering her to get a PS3 to no avail, that is until she saw LittleBigPlanet at Gamestop...

I think it's Nintendo's attempt to pacify the 'hardcore' gamers who have complained that there are no hardcore games for them. Capcom probably got a fist full of thousands and were told to go make something, anything. What Nintedno needs to do is stop porting graphicly inferior PS3/360 games and focus on games that take advantage of the Wii hardware.

I hear that there is a new House of the Dead game on the horizon, now that is more like it!

I think if you don't have internet to download updates strait to your 360, then why would you have internet access to download the updates to your PC? Even if you have access to public internet downloading updates is impractical, unless the public computers un the area have highspeed connections, which many do not.

Nullify the Arcade 360 SKU? If it fills up the 128 mb memory card, how is the owner suppose to save games and patches, let alone, download anything else?

In order NOT to find those comments on the Joystiq.com article requires a lobotomy.

Also, how come when any bit of news comes out for the PS3, Joystiq.com always posts it with a sarcastic tone? I mean this is a very hypocritical move by Microsoft and Joystiq.com is just reporting it nonchalantly and then quick...

WARNING: Sarcasm Ahead!

I mean 128 mb is just an entire memory card. I mean, who wants to save their game progress or download update patches?

Also, since this is a casual version of the 360, there is no reason to worry about how 'casual' gamers suppose to download the Live arcade's casual games? Nahhhhhhhhh, no biggie. Pffffff.

Considering all the water, lighting, particle effects, the game looks marvelous on either console. It is running off the, already over used middleware, Unreal 3 engine. That's really nobody's fault, the Unreal engine is just looking a bit outdated, rubbery looking faces be damned, it still look decent. LittleBigPlanet is on another level and it's set out to accomplish different things graphically.

There was nothing "cut" from the PS3's version. Explain what was cut and how can you determine what they cut in a short demo? I've played the 360 and the PC version of Bioshock and they all look the same across the board (well PC is better of coarse, but barely).

2K did not have 'extra time' for development. What the 2K studio's did in a year was translate the 360 code into PS3 code (which is VERY different). The development for PS3's Bioshock was not for new code it...

Like I said I built my old PC 2 years ago. The 7800 GTX was standard at the time. I didn't want to spend over a 1,000 dollars on my PC, and for that time my build played everything I threw at it. Not anymore. Again, you can spend 1,000+ and buy a PC that comes with PC problems or you can just get a console and let the developers worry about improving graphics instead of just pushing consumers to buy MORE and more hardware. Look I don't think FPS are going to disappear completely, but if devel...

If I had the money I still would be. I built my own computer about 2 years ago and it's just about obsolete. It ran F.E.A.R. very well even at high resolutions, but games like Crysis forget about it.

To be more precis, the PC market is actually shrinking for 'hardcore' FPS gaming. The casual market; Sims, World of Warcraft, and RTS games in general should still do very well. This is due to the fact that those games do not need constant PC upgrades. That unfortunatly is not the ...
