You're gonna look REALLY REALLY foolish if after a year of optimizing a game that is already finished and running at 1080p with ground-breaking Async...the TR releasing on X1 this year looks better, or even close to as good. (Don't forget, the X1 version could be getting patched along the way as well). So far there has never been a massive difference between console versions of games this Gen, don't kid yourself.
@gfk You're not a dev, if you don't want to believe that DX12 will help games on X1, that's your business, but your reasoning for getting there is flawed. You're using a game that wasn't developed for DX12 AT ALL, and saying that a 7% upgrade on top of another 7% upgrade means nothing...Project Cars (which is actually a mess anyway) is getting a 7% increase SIMPLY by patching it to allow it to run on DX12.

If you have the option to play on X1, there's absolutely no reason to wait.
You do realize that these pictures don't always have the same angles...and there for the same shadows, so sometimes one may look a tad sharper than the other, there are times where the X1 version looks sharper and the Ps4 version looks sharper....so it's probably due to the specifics angles of the picture...not an "actual" difference. They look identical.

Nice, It'll be interesting to see how devs will use this extra bit of resources. I'm sure each game will have different options, but I'm hoping this means more games running at a solid 60FPS and using more features like this dev was talking about.

Having all three consoles the X1 is the only one I wouldn't want to go without if it came down to it...(assuming I could only keep one for some reason). The idea that people think PS4 is a superior machine all around and that X1 isn't worth having baffles me. They all have their ups and downs, but when all is said in done, it's easy for me to say that the X1 is the best rounded machine...it's why it does all my heavy lifting and the other two are just for exclusives.

I preordered it and was actually deeply disappointed. The game is actually frustrating and not engaging at all...it's only 4-6 hours and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. To each there own, I know it will make some people happy but to me 7/10 would be too high for this game. WAYYYY too sluggish (even with the momentum run feature), the game looked ok but nothing special but had tons of FPS issues, and like I said before I just couldn't get into the story at all.

Yeah...sorry, I just got done playing it (but couldn't bring myself to finish it)....7/10 at best in my opinion...and that's being generous. It was painstakingly boring...sluggish in every perspective (even with the "momentum" run). Of course we are all entitled to our own opinions, but IMO, anyone giving this game a 10/10 loves misery.
This kind of isn't fair, of course DC isn't gonna look as good as Need for Speed, it's been out for a while. That being said, I'm impressed how much better NFS looks that than the last NFS. The new NFS looks FANTASTIC....my question is, is NFS open world? Or just a faux open world (in that it kinda looks open world but you really can't stray from the path)?
All I know is that I'm not usually a fan of closed course racers, so NFS looks much more fun...
