I own and love all the systems, but without a doubt X1 has the most to get me excited this year and next. The other consoles have some things to offer, but not nearly as much that has my attention.
MS/Xbox is doing a lot of things right lately, and anyone that is a fan of gaming/Xbox should be happy and take note. You don't have to hate any other console/games, but MS/Xbox is killing it. Cloud-Compute appears to be the real deal, and potentially even better than origin...

Your statement has absolutely nothing to do what he said. NO ONE is suggesting taking the GPU out of an Xbox. As we have already seen with demos of Crackdown, once the processing power of the cloud is applied, the difference in GPu between an X1 and PS4 is so negligible that no one is asking anymore.
Also you keep saying that Sony did this last gen, I think that's only proving that you aren't understanding the definition of "cloud" here. Sony now doesn...
It seems like this shouldn't be fair...a High end PC against an X1, with the X1 running probably the most advanced racing sim to date with 24 active racers with cloud controlled AI....and weather that isn't just mostly aesthetic....Project Cars on PC SHOULD crush Forza 6 in this case....but it really doesn't. I'm sure on paper in a technical sense we can point to something saying the Project Cars on PC is more impressive...but on screen it doesn't come across that way. F...

I was slow to get into this game, but I'm finding the more I play it, the more I like it. It's just tough juggling this and MGS5 at the same time...both huge games, and I'm kinda trying to rush through both since there are atomic bombs on the horizon.
Typical results, within gen the game looks practically identical (and gorgeous). With the PC taking overall prize, although I did see an article about the X1 and PS4 version having better looking Character models than the PC for some reason...and during the close ups of the fire guy (I haven't learned his name yet, still early in the game)....it actually DOES look more detailed on the Gen 8 consoles...but the environments definitely look best on PC.
So this game has me torn. On one hand there are a few things that REALLY annoy me, but on the other hand there are things about this game that I absolutely love. I admit I'm only 5-6 hours into it so far so some of my opinions may change. However, the first thing that annoys me is that in those 5-6 hours...it feels like I've actually "Played" 1-2 hours...the rest of the time was watching cut-scenes...which are always nice, but so far EXTREMELY repetitive. Come on guys, be real. If MS had said this they'd get ripped to shreds here, even though they truly do show much more innovation. If we simply changed places for MS and Sony in this deal with VR devices, the argument here would be. "MS has the weakest VR device coming to market and it does nothing special compared to the other two big ones coming" and "Sony is giving gamers a choice by letting them choose occulus, vive, and even the only AR device in HoloLens".
Please read the article...MS was not involved in this at all....except the FTC actually acknowledged that MS is doing everything it can to stop things like this.
(and if anyone is gonna say something like "we know MS is doing this stuff...just didn't get caught" ...well then that goes for EVERY company.)
