FM7 EASILY the better of these two games. GT chose to cut corners in a lot of areas on this one. Instead of depth they just chose to polish the little they did...and even in the areas GT has the edge, it's not by much....definitely not enough

GT didn't destroy anything at all...if ANYTHING all DF did was point out that GT focused less on gameplay and actually filling the game out and instead focused on minute visual details that don't make a massive difference. AT NO POINT did DF say that GT crushed FM7 in any way at all. All this did was confirm that FM7 is the better overall game. There are slight pre-baked areas where GT has an edge, but those aren't enough to make a dent in FM7....as shown in rev...
They didn't say GT looks much better at all, they said there were times that GT focused more on detail and lighting, but that was cause FM7 focused on much more content and dynamic weather
So essentially FM7 offers a ton more content with realtime weather and atmosphere while GT provides slightly better lighting and more precise detail but much less content and all lighting and weather pre-baked
This "argument" only gets likes here on N4G and with the sexual predators on NeoGaf....in the real world....not so much

I remember last week the comparison between pro and base ps4 and x1 didn't show much difference and all had muddy textures so I wasn't honestly expecting much from the X1X version but WOW ...now I'm gonna hold off till the 7th to start this game
I have NOT played this game at all, but based on the vast majority of reviews and the supporting statements as to why they scored it the way they did...it sounds like this game does not even come close to deserving a 10 at all. By far Forza looks to be the better game. The only reason GT Sport seems to be scoring even close to FM7 is cause there are reviews from no name sites trying to trash FM7 (over things that aren't even true) and inflate scores for GT Sport. I wouldn't go far enough to say GT Sport is a bad game, I haven't even played it (or FM7), but based on the meat of the reviews...FM7 seems to win hands down on every single front.
Funny that all these no-name sites keep giving GT a great score and knocking FM7...not suspicious at all.

Right, but that is in line with what I said. I have always been a Sony fan but this gen they have seriously over promised and under delivered. I've most likely been gaming longer than you have been alive
I'll be playing on X1X, not only will the game perform quite a bit better there, but I also prefer the controller and and UI there (and network but that matters very little for this game). The more this generation goes on, the more I realize PS4 isn't offering enough for me anymore. Right now the ONLY highlights for me in PS's future is Days Gone and God of War...and even those are starting to fade. Everything else is being done better on Switch or X1X.
It doesn't need any exclusives. That being said there are more exclusives to Xbox than any other console that I " must play". Hell I even sold my PS4 towards the X1X.

Now that I no longer own a PS4, the only 2 PS games announced that I personally care for are God of War and Days Gone. Both look like they will be good games, however, I must admit that with the plethora of amazing games already not making the list of games I will have time to play...not playing either game will not be a heartbreaker, but if the release during a lull I will definitely give either a shot.
