Probably because Phil said that while he likes some remakes, he doesn't want to flood the catalog with remakes...so essentially they have to draw the line somewhere. There would be no need to spend all the money to do this upgrade at all. If there were substantial differences between the two consoles...maybe, but that's not the case at all. Yes, PS4 is more powerful, but it also doesn't work the same way an X1 does...and side by side, you can almost never tell which version is which...so why spend MILLIONS of dollars to close a gap that doesn't matter?
