Why does it not surprise me that PirateTom doesn't find the 360 lineup appealing?...um yeah, sure, big surprise there.
Regardless of your personal...ahem, fanboy taste...I think anybody can see that the 360 lineup includes more big hitters than the ps3 lineup. Uncharted is a great game and has made a name for itself and I think it will do pretty well, but games like MAG are not that impressive and I doubt they will do as well as some of the other big games.

It's hypocritical the way many ps3 loyalists self righteously complain about 360 fans in a ps3 article but yet there they are in every 360 article writing their typical anti-360 drivel....at least most 360 fans will stick to points that are at least a little bit sensible...unlike the utter nonsense many ps3 fans write.
Forza 3 definitely will...but also Halo ODST, SC Conviction and L4D2...I could be wrong of course, but that is what I predict. I think Uncharted 2 will likely come in at above 90...but I don't know what else might be a sure bet on the ps3.
Sony tend to announce many of their games so far in advance that their lineup is always deceptive and gives the illusion of being bigger than it really is. When you look at the games that actually come out within a certain time frame the ps3 and 360 are usually pretty even...although I would say that I think the 360 actually has a better lineup for the rest of the year.
Actually if you made a list of the resolutions of every game available on both platforms the 360 would have a higher average resolution. There are numerous multiplats that run at 720P on the 360 and at a reduced resolution on the ps3. Most games on the 360 run at 720P.
The rocks in the ps3 version probably just means that debris had fallen there from an explosion or something and they took the screenshot at that time. If you notice, there aren't any rocks in the 360 version at all, so I almost guarantee that is what it is. Both versions have shadows casting from the buildings, it's just that the rocks are there in the PS3 version and so they cast shadows.

Did you even read the article?...the ps3 version has some rocks in one spot where the 360 doesn't and you think that makes the ps3 version better? The 360 version has a more solid framerate, sharper image quality, better anti-aliasing and less screen tearing....so um, that sounds like the 360 version is a lot better in all the ways that matter.
Prototype is awesome...butthurt PS3 fans need to get over it and stop trying to knock down Prototype...just because your version of Prototype runs like crap...*snicker*
Sorry, I recently compared Red Faction on both consoles and the 360 version is hands down the better version...the ps3 version has more jaggies, more screen tearing, more slowdown and a softer image quality...that is why I bought the 360 version.
Ha! The PS3 has more shaded rocks in one damn screenshot and the 360 version has a better framerate, less screen tearing, sharper image quality and better anti-aliasing (quincunx sucks) and you think that means the PS3 version is better? Ha, ha...wow, talk about having the fanboy blinders on.
Sorry, based on the info provided in the article the 360 version is a lot better than the PS3 version.
Some developers have also said they maxed out the PS3, but the developers that say that kind of stuff about either system are just trying to hype their games. Every time it is shown to be wrong. DVD or bluray capacities have nothing to do with visuals in games.
Nah neither console is maxed out...Mass Effect 2 looks better than ME1, Uncharted 2 looks better than Uncharted 1, Forza 3 looks better than Forza 2 and it will keep going like this.

Gears 2 already looks better than Killzone 2 so I don't know what you are saying. Killzone 2 is overhyped in the graphics dpartment but I don't expect Sony fanboys to admit that. Compare the games on your own tv switching back and forth and it is easier to tell that Gears 2 looks better. They both look good though.
People do talk about how stunning those games look but not in Sony fanboy land so you are oblivious to it. Some sites said Alan Wake had best grafics at E3.
Well I think Killzone 2 is the 8th most graphicaly impressive console game... nah I'm just messing with ya. Seriously though I don't get why people think it looks better than Gears of War 2 or Resident Evil 5 or Uncharted or Lost Planet 2 or Alan Wake or Mass Effect 2 or Uncharted 2...I just don't see it. They all look different to me but at the same time they all look real good.
Not to mention that it was discovered that Killzone 2 uses pre-baked shadows to fake a lot of its shadows. Gears 2's textures in general blow away the textures in Killzone 2. The only thing that makes Killzone 2 look unique is its motion blur and lighting. All in all I still like the way Gears of War looks better. The hollow and the sunken city in Gears 2 look better than any part in Killzone 2.
Polls are worthless. Fanboys just vote against the console they don't like and totally throw off the numbers. It would be like expecting to get an honest impression from the user reviews at metacritics...fanboys always ruin those kinds of things. Since ps3 fanboys dominate on many sites they tend to skew things toward a ps3 bias....nothing new there.
I have both of the consoles too and I hate how the ps3 fans act like the ps3 is so amazing and no other console can compare....well, I have both and there are a whole bunch of things the ps3 isn't as good at as the 360....the ps3 is just now starting to really catch up to the 360 in some ways. Most of these guys think R2 and kz2 are the best shooters ever just because they haven't really played some of the other shooters.

No, I wasn't around here back then...I am just going off what I have seen since I have been visiting this site. I think Why dis made a reasonable point about Sony showing their cards early...and I don't get why some people think if a person prefers one console that they don't have the other console. Many of us nowadays have two consoles and even if we favor one we still have a right to comment about things pertaining to the other one.
