SniperControl: If you're going to challenge blackout at least get your facts straight. Sony stated it had "shipped" 13.5 million PS4 consoles to retailers at the end of September. Microsoft stated last week that they had almost shipped 10 million XB1 consoles to retailers. So as of today nobody knows the true shipped numbers of either Sony or Microsoft. Please GTFOH with the VGCHARTZ BS numbers. You're actually spreading more FUD than he is when you start quoting VGCHARTZ!! ...

Perhaps sales of the PS4 are slowing down because the early adopters have reached a saturation point and now the people that sit on the fence for the first year are starting to buy next gen consoles and are choosing the XB1 based on a cheaper price, more attractive bundles, and preference in software library. Just a thought..

Give it a rest. Most free games given away on these consoles are games that have been out for awhile and aren't selling well amymore. I don't understand the need to downplay this...

I know the first weeks sales of the XB1 aren't impressive. But according to other websites the PS4 and WiiU barely crack 5,000 sales a week in Japan.
Most Japanese gamers prefer handheld gaming. I mean look at the PS Vita sales. Japan is literally keeping that handheld afloat by itself and 3DS sales are even better.
Microsoft can't just give up on Japan. They need to have a presence world wide if they want to properly support their product!!

I never disputed that Who o why. I agree the PS4 is currently the most powerful console on the market. That's not even up for debate.
Regardless. The PS4 is still underpowered if we are setting the bar at 1080P/60fps. I'm not stating that to hate on the PS4. I plan on purchasing one this Christmas to go along side my WiiU and XB1.

Why do you Sony lovers brag about the performance of the PS4 when it is also underpowered? How many PS4 games run at 1080P and 60 FPS?
Both the PS4 and XB1 cant do games at 1080P resolution without making sacrifices. Just because the PS4 has to make a few less sacrifices does not make it this all powerful console most of the members of this website make it out to be.
Does it matter whether it's behind a paywall or not?? Bottom line is that both consoles require you to purchase their online gaming service in order to to use the multiplayer feature. Please spare me the talk about indie games and media services not being stuck behind a paywall. If you want the full experience from the PS4 then you need to purchase PS Plus.
