No, that should be the 360 fans. Kinect is the end of their platform as they know it.
I have a 360 and I'm spending all my time on it playing Fallout NV, but I'm not getting Kinect and not sure what games I'll be buying for 360 after that.
Kinect affects my PS3 in no way.
Think of the kid that was 15 when the game was announced, he's now 20. He spend his whole high school years hearing about this game. Maybe by the time he's done with college, it will come out.
Hurray for Jason 360, for being the first to bring a Sony product into the discussion.
Good for MS if Kinect outsells Move. Justin Beiber albums outsell Slayer albums, which t-shirt would you rather wear?
Until "mum" sees the price tag and says oh no.
It won't be about moms, it will be about kids asking mom for it, over and over again, until the mom caves in and whips out the credit card.
Move is geared towards more "standard" gamer, but they're advertising it like it's Wii knock off. Their commercials show mom and grandpa playing golf, ping-pong, etc... Wrong, wrong, wrong... and they don't even point out the main different between ...
You can blame all of the "sell out" comments on producer Bob Rock. He puss-ified the band so they could be played on the radio.

Still sucks it's not on the disk for everyone.
Off Topic, but:
I just finished Alan Wake's last DLC "The Writer".
What I think of Alan Wake:
first half: A+
second half: B-
DLCs: D
If they had actually taken the story anywhere, and had something besides the same 5 enemies over and over again, it would have been one of the best ever.
"the not-so-strong release of the PlayStation move"
huh?
didn't it already sell 3mill worldwide?
People work at the DVD+R DL factory too..
jk
look at the xbox trolls rejoicing over 4 DAYS of sales in Japan.
1) it was 4 days
2) they are talking console sales, not Move sales
3) EVERY console declined that week
"And theres no way it would give the same experience as without using a controller."
Thanks for summing up Kinect.
gow3's release date is "Holiday 2011", over a year from now.
So that's 2 in 6 months, with little else on the horizon.
I'm not trolling, I just think it's funny when ANY company fails at using their own product.
Lighten up!
Yes, Kinect has a (barely) more advanced camera. Good for Kinect. BUT, I was replying to the comment:
"are you going to try and convince me that Move and the wii mote are different things?"
I was showing that WII and MOVE are different things.
Wrong. It does head and body tracking pretty well.
You can see from the video, it's using the glowing balls to keep track of his hands, but the rest of his body and head are all being tracked by the camera alone.

EDIT:
Not only that, the camera can add the player to the game screen (ey...
@Dread: Where's the Wii's camera again?
Interesting to see MS use
MS Server OS (Windows)
MS Web Server (IIS)
MS Web Development Platform (ASP.net)
MS Database (SQL Server) *I'm assuming
to make a site about an MS Product (Xbox)
and fail at it.
I do ASP.net development for a living. They should have had some backup plans or at least put the old site back when this stopped working.
How about 8 mini nukes at one time?

How about everything here:

However, NONE of these will happen with PS3.
PS4 will probably be a robust online social game machine, but the PS3 is too old now for Sony to invest in making major changes to the OS.
