funny you say that...i have recorded an album...almost completely on my own. but what i was trying to say that is that it is considerably easier to write music than to learn how to program video games by todays standards.
but i dont use a drum machine and keyboard...i play drums, guitar/bass...and i dabble with the piano some. but if you really want to hear some of my stuff i could hook you up...
Just cause MS has a patent(assuming they do), on cross game chat, doesn't mean Sony can't do it...same with like in-game music. Sony would just have to pay a royalty, s I'm sure Sony has a lot of patents that Microsoft already pays Sony for. Sony has been in the console business a lot longer. The patent probably isn't as big of an issue as you think.
someone should inform him that programming a video game with today's standards is a little bit harder than making music with a keyboard and a beat box :P
tbh though i like a few of their songs...not many. and that article kinda made him look like a d-bag. but i do agree that motion sensing is not the future of video gaming. just a fad.

it'll sell well no doubt, but it seems like the media is making a bigger deal out of the game than most gamers are. at least in n4g-land anyways. maybe hype will pick up when the uncharted 2 and halo:odst hype dies down

i expected it to sell a lot, and now i expect microsoft to do a lot more of this less content for more money....why wouldn't they since they know they can get away with it now.

anyone notice in the customization category he didn't compare forza3 to gt5...he compared it to past games in the series? pretty hard to compare 2 games, specially when you don't know much about one. play them both first then get back to me.
