Good points but I have a couple problems with it.
The blast shield is the most annoying item in the game. You lose your radar and a good portion of your screen. AND you have to give up your nade/throwing knife/whatever to have it. It should be a perk like "Increased explosive damage" which really annoys me.
The other thing is that you say they only get a couple of them. Have you ever used scavenger? or one man army.

why did they waste their time finding a hack to get all of the stars...why not just earn them the legitimate way and have fun with a buddy while doing it. I've only got one more star to go! I just don't see the point in cheating?

I agree that it has issues, but it is 100 times better than the party system COD:W@W had. It would take me and my friends an hour literally to get in a game together. It's the reason we stopped playing together.
Edit: that's on the ps3 version, I hear the 360 version worked better but I can't confirm or deny that.
I want to see them try a playlist that doesn't have killstreak rewards. It'd be interesting to see if people actually played it, and if it would cut the camping down. I was in a domination game where my team destroyed the other in points. We had double their score, but there was one buy camping in a building with one man army and nuked us at the end so we lost. It was stupid.
Personally I would prefer they tone down the grenade launcher attachment. Or make a perk that reduce...

They needed to do something drastic 'cause it was getting ridiculous. I'm fine with the penalties cause it is no fun being on the team where one or two guys leaves at the very start of the match. Especially since your skill rating is based on wins. As for people complaining about getting penalties for d/c, I doubt many people with decent connections are having that many problems. If you're getting disconnections every game, then you probably need to upgrade your plan if you want to be ga...

Treyarch didn't even bother to fix the wall/floor glitches that PLAGUED the game for months! The party system till this day (at least, up until a few weeks ago before i traded my copy in) was so bad, it could take me and my buddies up to 30 minutes to get into the same match.
Now, I'm not saying the party system is perfect in MW2, but it's closer.
